Tuesday, Oct. 1 –                      PUPkins and Halloweenies Costume Contest

Thursday, Oct. 31                   Lake Las Vegas Resort is stepping up the cuteness this month with

an adorable pet costume contest that is open to the community. From Tuesday, Oct. 1 to Friday, Oct. 18, dog owners can submit photos of their furry family member dressed in their cutest Halloween costumes for the chance to win a Lake Las Vegas Resort doggy prize pack. Las Vegas’ fun and frisky class, Night School 4 Girls at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, is joining in the fight against breast cancer with month-long charitable initiatives. On October 25, a special class will be held at 3:30 p.m., with a portion of proceeds going to Hard Rock International’s PINKTOBER™ campaign benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. The class will feature hosted Hpnotiq shots, a candy bar and Hpnotiq giveaways. Also, throughout the month, guests purchasing tickets online or on the phone will have the option add a flat donation to their orders or to round up their total with the extra change going to charity.

In celebration of Hard Rock International’s 14th annual PINKTOBER™ campaign, both Hard Rock Cafe locations in Las Vegas will host a series of special events to raise awareness and funds for a cause that affects millions of people around the world. On Tuesday, October 1, 2013, Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas on the Strip will kick off this year’s PINKTOBER program with a ribbon cutting featuring Bally’s Headliner, Véronic.  In addition, guests can visit Hard Rock’s Rock Shop throughout the month of October to customize Hard Rock’s classic t-shirt and make it pink for the cause. Hard Rock Cafes in Las Vegas, NV welcomed comedic icon and Luxor headliner, Carrot Top, to the Hard Rock Cafe strip location today in support of the brand’s 13th annual PINKTOBER™ breast cancer awareness campaign.

Carrot Top made an appearance to show his support for the month-long PINKTOBER campaign which comes to an end today. The comedian was shopping for limited-edition merchandise which includes a PINKTOBER 2012 T-shirt, bracelet, pin and more.

Proceeds from the sale of PINKTOBER™ merchandise benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Caron Keating Foundation (U.K.) with 75 percent of the retail price of each pin and 15 percent of the retail price of other products going directly to the cause.
