About Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, the brand’s third location, boasts three levels spanning over 80,000 square feet and is one of the largest performance venues of its class in America. Early on, People Magazine projected the venue as “on the fast path to being Vegas’ über cool place” and in 2015 cracked the top 20 in Pollstar’s Top 200 Club Venues for Worldwide Ticket Sales. Located on The LINQ Promenade, the open-air district in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the multi-dimensional space boasts 32 lanes of bowling, six on-site bars and rockin’ comfort food by the world-renowned Bromberg Brothers’ Blue Ribbon Restaurants, including their iconic Fried Chicken celebrated on Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” On any given night, more than 2,000 concertgoers can enjoy live music programming from the general admission area, the luxurious bowlers’ lounges adjacent to the lanes, or the private lounge boxes overlooking it all. Since opening in March 2014, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas has seen notable performances by Jack White, Disclosure, Alabama Shakes, Modest Mouse, Robert Plant, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Roots and Jane’s Addiction.

The Taj Mahal Trio and John Hiatt & The Combo – Sat, Aug. 2

Taj Mahal is one of the most prominent and influential figures in late 20th century blues and roots music; and John Hiatt’s mercurial tastes have led to a varied and impressive musical career. (show: 8pm, admission $35-$40.)

Watch the Taj Mahal Trio’s live performance of “Blues With a Feeling”.

Chromeo – Thu, Aug. 7

Watch their music video for Jealous (I Ain’t With It).

Flume – Thu, Aug. 7

22-year-old rising wunderkind, Flume, creates atmospheric, beat-driven music that draws on a range of influences to create a fresh new sound; one capable of bringing a festival crowd to fever pitch and then bringing it right back down again on demand. (show: 11:59pm, admission: $20.)

Honda Civic Tour Featuring Grouplove & Portugal. The Man – Sat, Aug. 16 (show: 8pm, admission: $35-40)

Grouplove

After scoring success with their chart topping single “Tongue Tied” and spending over two years on the road supporting their 2011 debut Never Trust A Happy Song, Grouplove took less than a week’s break before beginning work on their new album, Spreading Rumours. Spreading Rumours sees Grouplove elevating from a band of friends jangling together music and words without much direction into focused artists making a beautiful album together – standing behind one vision and a sound that is uniquely their own.

Watch their video for Tongue Tied.

Portugal. The Man

Six full-length albums in six years, nonstop touring, a stint with The Black Keys and festival stops at Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, Portugal. The Man embodies all dimensions of DIY rock range.

Watch their video for Modern Jesus.

The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – Sun, Aug. 17

At a time when so much of the industry’s output has become the musical equivalent of junk mail, listening to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones is like receiving a series of postcards from a vacationing friend: handwritten, infectiously fun, wish-you-were-here inclusive, and, overall, personal. (show: 8pm, admission: $38.50-$44)

Watch their video for The Impression That I Get.

Groundation – Thu, Aug. 28

Bursting forth from their underground status, Groundation has taken the music world by storm. Capturing the essence and drive of true roots reggae, the widely renowned band takes the art form to new heights by blending elements of jazz, funk, salsa, soul and transcendental dub in a progressive amalgam of sound all their own. (show: 9pm, admission: $16.50)

Watch their video for Humility.

DJ ?uestlove Presents: Bowltrain – Thu, Aug. 28 and Fri, Aug. 29

(show: 11:59pm, admission: $11-$20)

Groove to his Boiler Room set!

The Avett Brothers – Fri, Aug. 29 – Sun, Aug. 31

Hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as having the “heavy sadness of Townes Van Zandt, the light pop concision of Buddy Holly, the tuneful jangle of the Beatles, the raw energy of the Ramones,” the Avett Brothers bring their artful distillation of classic homegrown folk, rock energy, bluegrass soul and pop charm to Las Vegas for 3 nights. (show: 8pm, admission: $59)

Watch their music video for Murder in the City.
