ACCOMMODATIONS

Located on Las Vegas Boulevard as a gateway from the North Strip to downtown, The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod offers 2,427 guest rooms and suites, as well as an 80,000-square-foot casino floor. The 1,149-foot STRAT tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States, is home to Top of the World, famed for its revolving dining room and acclaimed cuisine. The tower also offers the highest view of the Las Vegas Strip from the Observation Deck, and thrilling attractions and rides including Sky Jump, Big Shot, X-Scream and Insanity.

  • Big Shot

Strap into the Big Shot and prepare to be shot 160 feet in the air at 45 miles per hour as guests overlook the majestic Las Vegas Valley. In a matter of seconds, the Big Shot thrill ride catapults 16 riders from the 921-foot high platform up the tower’s mast to a height of 1,081 feet and down again. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall to ride Big Shot. Riders under the age of 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Insanity

Insanity features a massive mechanical arm extending out 64 feet over the edge of The STRAT tower and stands at a height of over 900 feet. This thrill ride spins passengers in the open air at speeds of up to three ‘G’s. Riders are propelled up to an angle of 70 degrees then rewarded with a breathtaking view of historic downtown Las Vegas. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall to ride Insanity. Riders under the age of 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • X-Scream

Hovering 866 feet above the ground, X-Scream’s space-age, yet simplistic, design resembles a massive teeter-totter or rollercoaster unlike anything seen before. X-Scream propels riders headfirst, 27 feet over the edge of the The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. After being shot over the edge, guests are dangled weightlessly above the Las Vegas Strip before being pulled back and propelled over again for more fun. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall to ride X-Scream. Riders under the age of 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • Sky Jump

Sky Jump is a heart-pounding, open-air leap from 829 feet above the neon Strip, holding a Guinness World Record as the highest commercial decelerator descent facility. Day or night, guests can zoom toward the landing pad at speeds topping 40 mph. Jumpers must be 14 years of age or older and 52 inches or taller. Jumpers between 14 – 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign an authorization waiver. Maximum weight allowed is 265 pounds. Observation Deck

A unique fixture in the Vegas skyline, the 1,149-foot-tall resort tower is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States and voted “Best Place to View the City” by Las Vegas Review-Journal readers, year after year. Located on the 107th floor of tower, Level 107 Lounge is an ideal spot for guests to enjoy signature cocktails prepared by award-winning bartenders and appetizers from Top of the World. The L.A. Comedy Club of Las Vegas has been serving Vegas locals and tourists alike since 2007. Housed in The STRAT’s 160-seat Dragon Room, L.A. Nightly from 8 – 10 p.m.

L.A. Comedy Club was the first comedy club to bring breakout comics such as Aziz Ansari, Felipe Esparsa and Loni Love to Las Vegas. Each week features a different live comedy event where national headlining comedians can stretch their comedic wings to provide the audience with a unique experience.

 

MEETINGS & EVENTS

Groups hosting their event at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod will benefit from 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, complimentary parking for all attendees, and a designated convention service/catering manager. Whether looking for a space for a luncheon and meetings or dinner and dancing, the variety of meeting options can accommodate groups up to 20,000 in unique spaces like those in the tower with natural light; the observation deck, overlooking Las Vegas’ lights; rooftop poolside; and the Theater with state-of-the-art AV, lighting and staging.

 

Chapel in the Clouds

Named “Best Place to Tie the Knot Like a Tourist,” the Chapel in the Clouds is the only venue in Las Vegas located 800 feet high above the Las Vegas Valley. Two chapels are located on the 103rd floor of the tower offering traditional ceremonies with a view. Wedding options include both indoor and outdoor weddings on levels 108 and 109, private balcony weddings with a view on level 112 and thrill ride weddings. In addition to scoops of ice cream, milkshakes, pastries and confectionaries, Tower Creamery serves 21 and over concoctions including alcohol-infused milkshakes and zero-proof milkshakes, malts and floats. Tower Creamery is located on level 108.

Party celebrations planned from 6pm – 10pm

 

The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is celebrating the 4th of July holiday by offering several parties showcasing the spectacular fireworks launched from Stratosphere’s grounds. Guests can enjoy the fireworks display at one of two poolside locations, or from the comfort and superior viewing available inside the Tower’s Indoor Observation Area, Level 107 Lounge or Top of the World Restaurant.

The Stratosphere is hosting a spectacular fireworks display by Grucci, launching from various locations including the top of the tower at approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2015.

Tower Party: Guests are invited to view the 4th of July fireworks from the iconic Tower’s Indoor or outdoor Observation areas on the 108th and 109th floors. Each provides an expansive view of the valley from the tallest freestanding Tower West of the Mississippi River.  Beginning at 6 p.m., tower admission is $29.99 for the general public ($5 off with Take Vegas Back card) and $14.99 for hotel guests to experience the valley’s spectacular fireworks display, as well as a live DJ and two free drinks between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.  Tower thrill rides are $5 each or $49.99 for unlimited rides.  Entry will be limited to the first 1,000 guests.  Arrival is strongly recommended prior to 7:30 p.m. and tickets must be picked up prior to 8 p.m.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Level 107 Lounge: Enjoy the view and the fireworks from the comfort of a table or booth inside the Level 107 Lounge on the 107th floor of the Stratosphere Tower. From 6 p.m. – 10 p.m., Level 107 Lounge admission is $29.99 ($5 off with Take Vegas Back card) and $14.99 for hotel guests.  DJ sets are planned between 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. and 11 p.m. – 4 a.m. Along with an extensive cocktail menu, guests can also order food items from the lounge menu. Radius˚ Rooftop Pool & Wet Lounge: Experience the fireworks up close and in the open air from a VIP Party at Las Vegas Strip’s newest rooftop pool.  PIN UP™ star and Playboy’s 2011 Playmate of the Year® Claire Sinclair will host the party, featuring a DJ and other live entertainment, as well as open bar (call drinks) from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Admission is $49.99 ($5 off with Take Vegas back card) and limited to 200 guests. 8 Pool: The pool party begins at 6 p.m. on the 8th floor pool deck.  Live entertainment includes crowd favorite Zowie Bowie from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Cash bar and food is available for purchase. The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is helping you celebrate with the one you love on Valentine’s Day by offering special menus at Top of the World and McCall’s Heartland Grill restaurants and romantic offerings at Level 107 Lounge.

From the elegant and award-winning Top of the World restaurant and its inspired cuisine and always changing view of Las Vegas, to the intimate and comfortable McCall’s Heartland Grill and Level 107 Lounge, there is something for everyone.

“Valentine’s Day is all about love and comfort and we’ve put together menu pairings that reflect those qualities,” said Stratosphere Executive Chef Rick Giffen.

Top of the World Restaurant
Enjoy a special four-course menu on Valentine’s Day which offers inspired culinary delights alongside Las Vegas’ best and only rotating view, 800 feet about the Strip.

The dining experience begins with a strawberry agua fresca shooter featuring aged cherry balsamic & pepper trio. The first course includes a choice of vegetarian soup comprised of tomato, mixed vegetables, Mediterranean spices and a cilantro parsley Crème Fraîche with a pistachio pesto, or heirloom lettuce salad with fried oysters and teardrop tomato, roasted pear, red onion and sherry vinaigrette.

The second course includes a choice of seared day boat scallop with a Riesling brown butter served with a cauliflower purée and pickled grape, or a warm wild mushroom and goat cheese tartlet served with an herb salad and truffled vinaigrette.

For the main course, choice of grilled beef tenderloin with black truffle sauce, farro risotto cake and vegetable medley, or roasted loch etive salmon with tomato olive butter served with basil mashed potatoes, caramelized parsnip and carrot.

For dessert, berry shortcakes to share.  Heart shaped buttermilk vanilla biscuits served with mint mascarpone and roasted assorted berries with Chambord®

McCall’s Heartland Grill
The comfortable and cozy atmosphere of McCall’s Heartland Grill is the perfect place to enjoy Valentine’s Day dinner. A special three-course meal includes a white wine poached Canadian lobster and sautéed shrimp love puff served with a rose Champagne butter sauce.

The second course includes a USDA prime bacon wrapped filet of beef with bone marrow butter, wild mushroom risotto cake, sautéed Blue Lake green beans and red wine reduction.

For dessert, a chocolate lover’s mousse cup served with fresh harvest berries.

$45 per person. Regular menu items are also available. McCall’s Heartland Grill will be open 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Valentine’s Day.

On Valentine’s Day, Level 107 Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy an award-winning cocktail, appetizers, live music and DJ Dezie, and of course, the city’s best view.  Level 107 Lounge, voted one of Las Vegas’ best lounges, offers both early and late happy hours seven days a week.

On Valentine’s Day enjoy chocolate covered strawberries with the purchase of a bottle of wine. A specialty cocktail menu with custom Champagne and wines is also available.

Celebrations from the Pool to the Tower

Party celebrations from 6pm – 10pm 

Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower’s Fun on the Fourth extravaganza will offer something special for both adults and families. Adults will experience an unforgettable pool party, live concert and spectacular fireworks display. Or they can sip cocktails while watching fireworks from Level 107 Lounge’s unique point of view high above the Vegas Strip. Families with children will be able to enjoy the fireworks from Stratosphere’s Indoor Observation deck.

Pool Party/Concert/Fireworks: Adults will enjoy a festive evening at Stratosphere’s 8 Pool, featuring a live concert by 2014 Best of Las Vegas winner Zowie Bowie. Great food & drink specials will be sold at the 8 Pool Café/Bar, plus a limited number of special cabana packages are available. The celebration will be punctuated by an incredible fireworks display by Grucci. Tower Fireworks: Families with children can watch amazing fireworks from the tower with a beautiful view of the entire valley, including Stratosphere’s one-of-a-kind fireworks show. From 6pm – 10pm, tower admission to Levels 108 and 109 will be $28 for the general public and $10 for Stratosphere hotel guests. Tickets may be purchased at the Stratosphere Ticket Center.

Level 107 Lounge: Another option for adults— enjoy the fireworks from this newly remodeled venue, voted Best Lounge in the Las Vegas Review Journal’s 2014 Best of Las Vegas readers’ poll. Dance to the upbeat tempo of DJ Shy and live band Treasure from 11pm-4am. Early Happy Hour will feature half price appetizers and 2-for-1 cocktails from 4pm-7pm, and then Late Happy Hour at Level 107 will also offer half price appetizers from 10:30pm-1am and 2-for-1 cocktails from 1am – 4am. Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower is offering love-inspired dining menus for Valentine’s Day at the award-winning Top of the World Restaurant featuring the most romantic view in Las Vegas, and McCall’s Heartland Grill, located just off the casino floor. Guests can also enjoy themed cocktails and bottles of wine from 107 floors above the famous Las Vegas Strip at Level 107 Lounge.

Top of the World Restaurant
Valentine’s Day Dinner at the recently remodeled Top of the World Restaurant is a four-course prix fixe menu that begins with an Amuse Bouche of Push Berry “Pop”, which is Berry Gelée with cracked Black Pepper and Pop Rocks, followed by choice of first course: Parsnip Soup with Coconut Milk served with Rainbow Cauliflower “Couscous” and minted Lime Espuma; or Lobster salad with Mango dressing prepared with Heirloom lettuce, Grapefruit and Fig Croutons.

Second course features Seared Gulf Shrimp with Roasted Artichoke Heart, Apple & Fennel Nage and Guajillo essence; or Roasted Vegetable Medley with Zucchini Hummus, sweet Piquillo Pepper Coulis and Hearts on Fire Microgreen.

Third course offers guests a choice of Duo of Blackened Beef Tenderloin and Oysters Rockefeller with Crab, Creole Sauce, served with Roasted baby Carrot and Parsnip and Cipollini Onion; or Branzino (European Sea Bass) a la Plancha with Romesco, prepared with Haricots verts and toasted Marcona almond.

Level 107 Lounge will offer Valentine’s Day themed martinis and cocktails, while guests enjoy the new ambiance and spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip and valley.

The best view in Las Vegas just got even better.

Nevada residents with a valid Nevada ID will receive a free Stratosphere Tower pass allowing access to Stratosphere’s Indoor and Outdoor Observation Decks every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in January 2014, up to an $18 value.  Tower admission will also be free for children who are accompanied by a parent.

The free Tower passes will be issued at Stratosphere Ticketing, located on the casino level near Roxy’s Diner.

Consistently named “Best View” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and other publications, Stratosphere’s iconic 1,149-foot Tower defines the Las Vegas skyline, providing unmatched panoramic views of the Las Vegas Valley and world famous Las Vegas Strip.
