Wednesday evening, celebrated entertainer Frankie Moreno and Lacey Schwimmer were spotted in the audience at “Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel in Concert” at Harrah’s Las Vegas. Near the end of the show, Moreno jumped on stage to perform “Jailhouse Rock” with the band. Following the show, Moreno and Schwimmer joined cast members backstage for photos.

The United States of America Pageant preliminaries and finals will be taking place during President’s Day Weekend at the South Point Showroom Friday, Feb. 15 through Sunday, Feb. 17. Women from across the United States will compete for the title of United States of America Teen, Miss, Ms., or Mrs., for their home town state. The preliminary competition will be made up of a personal interview, swim wear competition and an evening gown competition. The final competition scoring will be comprised of a swim wear competition, an evening gown competition and an onstage question. Multi-Talented Artist Frankie Moreno Returns to Suncoast Showroom Dec. 9

Singer-songwriter, musician and showman Frankie Moreno will serenade audiences with his top hits at Suncoast Showroom on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Moreno rose to fame at the age of 10, when he competed on CBS’s “Star Search” as a child prodigy playing the piano and singing. Since then, Moreno has showcased his velvety vocals at venues across the country, headlining shows on the famous Las Vegas Strip and selling out concerts at New York’s Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and the Hollywood Bowl. The star has brought his vintage funk sound to stages around the world, including in Paris and Tokyo, and tours regularly with icons like Billy Currington, Sugarland and Air Supply.

Details:  Frankie Moreno will bring his high-energy music and lively stage antics to the South Point Showroom throughout November, while a portion of ticket sales from Moreno’s performance on Thursday, Nov. 16 will be donated to The Mob Museum to support its mission of advancing public understanding of the impact of the ongoing battle between organized crime and law enforcement in society.

 

Moreno and Ullman will team up for an exciting interview and performance, touching on the history the mob has in Las Vegas, while diving into Moreno’s colorful rise to fame.

  South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa, in partnership with Las Vegas headliner Frankie Moreno, will host a special show to benefit the Las Vegas Victim’s GoFundMe campaign on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the benefit show are available for $25 and 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards raising funds to provide relief and financial aid to the victims and families of the Route 91 Harvest Festival Las Vegas shooting. The evening will offer those impacted by the tragic event the chance to come together, recognize the lives of those lost, and support those in need.

Singer-songwriter, musician and showman Frankie Moreno will bring his top hits to Suncoast Showroom on Saturday, Sept. 9, Saturday, Oct. 14 and Saturday, Nov. 11.

Moreno rose to fame at the age of 10, when he competed on CBS’s “Star Search” as a child prodigy playing the piano and singing. Since then, Moreno has showcased his velvety vocals at venues across the country, headlining shows on the famous Las Vegas Strip and selling out concerts at New York’s Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center and the Hollywood Bowl. The Grass Roots – July 7
The Grass Roots had a series of major hits — most notably “Let’s Live for Today,” “Midnight Confessions,” “Temptation Eyes,” and “Two Divided by Love” — that help define the essence of the era’s best radio. The Grass Roots managed to chart 14 Top 40 hits, including seven gold singles and one platinum single, and had two hits collections that effortlessly went gold.

Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals – July 14
The Rascals are considered the best ‘blue-eyed soul’ group to come out of the 1960s, as well as one of the groups with the most record sales. The Rascals has a string of hits, including the mega hit “Good Lovin”, which struck No. 1 in February 1966. They followed suit with a string of hits like “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long,” “Groovin’,” “How Can I Be Sure,” “A Girl Like You,” “A Beautiful Morning,” and “People Got to Be Free”. The Rascals disbanded in 1972 and Felix Cavaliere’s solo career thrived during this decade.


Quiet Riot – July 21
Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band best known for their hit singles “Come On Feel the Noize” and “Metal Health”. They were founded in 1973 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Kelly Garni, under the original name Mach 1, before changing the name to Little Women and finally Quiet Riot in May 1975. Their current lineup features no original members from the Randy Rhoads era, and consists of lead vocalist James Durbin, drummer Frankie Banali, bassist Chuck Wright, and guitarist Alex Grossi. They are ranked at number 100 on VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock”.


Ambrosia – July 28
Los Angeles quartet Ambrosia fused symphonic art rock with a slickly produced pop sound. The group was discovered in 1971 by Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor Zubin Mehta, who featured Ambrosia as part of a so-called All-American Dream Concert. Their first record Ambrosia was released in 1975 and spawned the chart singles “Holdin’ on to Yesterday” and “Nice, Nice, Very Nice.” Ambrosia followed this success in 1980 with another number three hit, “Biggest Part of Me,” and the number 13 follow-up “You’re the Only Woman.”

Frankie Moreno Cabaret Jazz Residency at The Smith Center Extended for Another 10 Shows

Limited-Engagement Run to Start July 14-Sept. 29

 

Following a successful 12-show, limited-engagement residency, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to announce that Frankie Moreno will return for another 10 shows beginning next month. Starting July 14 and running through Sept. 29, dark July 28 and Aug. 4, Moreno will perform on Tuesday evenings in Cabaret Jazz at 8 p.m.

 

Moreno was first introduced to American audiences at the age of ten with his debut on CBS’s “Star Search.” Since then he hasn’t stopped. Named Best Strip Headliner by the Las Vegas Weekly and Best All Around Performer by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Moreno has been wowing audiences from coast-to- coast with his mix of rat pack glamour, original and classic hits and vintage funk-infused sounds. A piano prodigy and multi-instrumentalist, Moreno has performed with many greats, including award-winning classical violinist Joshua Bell, and graced such prestigious stages as the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.

 

Moreno has played a nation-wide tour with Grammy-nominated artist Billy Currington and country superstars Sugarland. In 2009, multi-platinum artists Air Supply recruited Moreno to join them as their musical director for their world tour. He wrote their latest radio single “Dance with Me,” which reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Charts. Moreno has twice collaborated with Bell with both records reaching the top ten on the Billboard Charts.

 

In 2013, Moreno performed his hit “Tangerine Honey” on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” This led to many other TV shows, magazine profiles and sold-out concerts including a performance that was filmed for his national PBS special, “Frankie Moreno in Concert.”

 

Moreno, who is managed by Roc Nation, is collaborating on new music with producer, engineer and guitar legend Pat Thrall (Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber).
