24 breweries, 48 beers and three bands to be featured at the venue on Saturday

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and Motley Brews have revealed the final lineup of breweries set to be featured at Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest on Saturday, July 27 at 6 p.m.

 

Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest is the inaugural music, beer and bowling event in a partnership between Brooklyn Bowl and Motley Brews. The event will feature unlimited tastings of 48 beers distributed at tasting stations throughout two floors of the three-story venue. Guests can enjoy the thoughtfully curated beer selection before enjoying music from Mest at 7:45 p.m., Reel Big Fish at 8:45 p.m. and Bowling For Soup at 10 p.m.

 

The 24 breweries that will be represented at Reel Big Beer and Bowling Fest are: 21st Amendment, ACE Cider, Anchor Brewing, Avery, Belching Beaver, Big Dog’s, Boulevard, Brooklyn Brewery, Crafthaus Brewery, Deschutes, Dogfish Head, Firestone Walker, Hop Valley, Lagunitas, Left Hand, New Belgium, Odell, Pigeon Head, Rogue, Saint Archer, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, Stone Brewing and Tenaya Creek.

 

General admission to Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest is $45 and is for ages 21+. Club Level entry is $85 and will include early access to the beer tasting, exclusive beer tastings, a limited-edition concert poster, open bowling and more. Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and Motley Brews just dropped the first round of breweries to be featured at Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest on Saturday, July 27, at 6 p.m.

 

The libation lineup features a variety of both local and national craft breweries sure to please the palettes of beer lovers of all types. The first of the announced breweries include: 21st Amendment, Ace Cider, Anchor Steam, Big Dogs Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, Crafthaus, DogFish Head, Firestone Walker, New Belgium, Original 16, Pigeon Head and Sierra Nevada. More breweries are set to announce in the coming weeks.

 

Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest is the inaugural event in Brooklyn Bowl’s concert and craft beer festival series with Motley Brews. The craft beer festival will run from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (6 p.m. for Club Level attendees) and will feature unlimited tastings curated by Motley Brews, accompanied by live music. Rounding out the experience are hopped up performances by Mest at 7:45 p.m., followed by Reel Big Fish at 8:45 p.m. and Bowling for Soup at 10:15 p.m.

Mandalay Bay to Host Festive BEER Weekend

MANDALAY BAY TO HOST FESTIVE BEER WEEKEND

Brewmasters and Chefs to Cure All Ales with Beer Events September 12-14


Mandalay Bay will host the resort’s first-ever BEER Weekend, a three-day beer extravaganza featuring special events and exclusive menus at Mandalay Bay Beach, Fleur by Hubert Keller, miX Restaurant and eyecandy sound lounge September 12-14. Created by Mandalay Bay Director of Food & Beverage and Nevada’s first female certified cicerone Sarah Johnson, the weekend line-up will tantalize taste buds of beer lovers everywhere.

The weekend festivities include a dinner at miX Restaurant with acclaimed brewmasters; a craft beer panel discussion at eyecandy sound lounge, led by Johnson; a high-energy beer festival at Mandalay Bay Beach featuring the country’s best beers along with cuisine by Vegas’ award-winning chefs Hubert Keller, Michael Mina, Alain Ducasse, Shawn McClain, Matthias Merges and more; and an exclusive beer brunch at Fleur by Hubert Keller.

Friday, September 12, 2014
Brewmasters’ Dinner, miX Restaurant – 7:30 p.m.
Hosted by Johnson, Matt Brynildson of Firestone Walker and Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery, this intimate dinner will kick off the weekend. A five-course menu created by the talented culinary team at Alain Ducasse’s miX Restaurant will be served alongside Firestone Walker and Brooklyn Brewery beers. Each beer will be presented by the brewers as they discuss the detailed notes of each selection along with the reasoning behind the pairing. Tickets priced at $225 per-person, all-inclusive, can be purchased on Mandalay Bay’s Beer site.

The Craft Beer Revolution Panel Discussion, eyecandy sound lounge – 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
The festivities will continue with a panel discussion on all things craft beer, hosted by Johnson, and featuring Brooklyn Brewery co-founder Steve Hindy. Following the event, a book signing of Hindy’s The Craft Beer Revolution will be held inside the lounge. Books will be available for purchase for $20 all-inclusive. Entrance to the event is free and seating is limited to the first 100 attendees.

BEER Festival, Mandalay Bay Beach – 7:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
The main event at Mandalay Bay Beach will offer lively entertainment, great brews and scrumptious food selections as participating breweries and restaurants showcase their talents. Guests are invited to sample a variety of the country’s best beers along with award-winning cuisine by MGM Resorts International’s top chefs. Tickets are priced at $75 per-person, all-inclusive, and can be purchased on Mandalay Bay’s Beer site.

to Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro at The Palazzo

 

Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro at The Palazzo is bringing back its popular lunch menu, Mussels, Frites and Craft Beer, for the month of September.

 
“We had great success with this special menu when we first launched it last spring,” said Tom Bachner, general manager for Morels. “Our guests love it because they can have an extravagant lunch without spending too much. And, the menu our Executive Chef, JL Carrera, has created offers some unique preparations of mussels which pair extremely nicely with our draft craft beers. Together, the meal and the beer are a great lunch item.”

 
The menu offers a variety of succulent mussel and frites paired with American craft beers:
