Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and Motley Brews just dropped the first round of breweries to be featured at Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest on Saturday, July 27, at 6 p.m.

 

The libation lineup features a variety of both local and national craft breweries sure to please the palettes of beer lovers of all types. The first of the announced breweries include: 21st Amendment, Ace Cider, Anchor Steam, Big Dogs Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery, Crafthaus, DogFish Head, Firestone Walker, New Belgium, Original 16, Pigeon Head and Sierra Nevada. More breweries are set to announce in the coming weeks.

 

Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest is the inaugural event in Brooklyn Bowl’s concert and craft beer festival series with Motley Brews. The craft beer festival will run from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (6 p.m. for Club Level attendees) and will feature unlimited tastings curated by Motley Brews, accompanied by live music. Rounding out the experience are hopped up performances by Mest at 7:45 p.m., followed by Reel Big Fish at 8:45 p.m. and Bowling for Soup at 10:15 p.m.

 

General admission to Reel Big Beer & Bowling Fest is $45 and is for ages 21+. Club Level entry is $85 and will include early access to the beer tasting, exclusive beer tastings, a limited-edition concert poster, open bowling and more. Eureka! in Downtown Las Vegas Celebrates Local Craft Beers with “Steal The Glass”

“STEAL THE GLASS” WEDNESDAYS CELEBRATE LOCAL CRAFT BEERS  AT EUREKA! IN DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

Supporting the proliferating craft beer scene in Las Vegas is not only a priority for downtown’s Eureka! but also a point of pride for the dynamic restaurant and bar in the heart of Fremont East. To highlight the region’s bustling local brew scene, the restaurant spotlights a different brewery every Wednesday for “Steal the Glass.” For this weekly occasion, Eureka! partners with a local craft brewery to create branded glassware for guests to take home when they order the featured craft beer of the day. The experience can include one featured beer or a “tap takeover” where the brewery taps multiple beers from a featured brewer. “Steal the Glass” takes place from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. every Wednesday while supplies last.

Of the 40 craft taps at Eureka!, more than half belong to local breweries that brew-seeking Las Vegans continue to support such as CraftHaus, Hop Nuts Brewing and Tenaya Creek Brewery. From balanced malts to hop-heavy profiles, the tap collection features lager, IPA, wheat, stout, cider and everything in between. The menu also includes seasonal varietals, special brews, Hawaiian lagers and the Eureka! staple Orange Wheat from Hanger 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands, California, the location of the brands first-ever restaurant.

“Offering the variety of local brews that we have allows us to give guests a ‘Las Vegas a beer tour’ where they can try all of the outstanding brews that the city has to offer in one place, while also acting as an additional purveyor for the smaller breweries to expose their small-batch brews to a larger audience. Pub 365, located inside Tuscany Suites & Casino, will hold a poolside beer festival on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.  Featuring breweries from Las Vegas and beyond, the brewfest will serve local favorites like Joseph James, Big Dog, Crafthaus, Banger Brewing, Tenaya Creek, Lovelady, Able Baker, Bad Beat, and Hop Nuts as well as Reno notables Imbib, Occidental, and Revision Brewing.

Kick-off the winter season with the all-new ‘Cucina Brew Series,’ a unique culinary event showcasing cuisine from the kitchen of Cucina by Wolfgang Puck and highlighting an array of local vendors. Guests will experience an interactive evening as they visit a number of stations filled with delectable bites and sample different drink pairings, while mingling with Chef De Cuisine Daniel Stramm (Cucina by Wolfgang Puck)and local brew masters. The first to launch the event series will be a beer pairing dinner hosted by CraftHaus Brewery, a local brewer located in Henderson, NV, and recently awarded Best Local Brewery of 2018by Las Vegas Weekly.

Set to debut on Tuesday, Nov. 6th, ‘Cucina Brew Series’ will give guests the opportunity to enjoy both the modern and classic Italian fares Cucina has to offer by conceptualizing new recipes and immersing within them crafted beers that have been inspired by Las Vegas’ own CraftHaus Brewery. Known for its over-the-top burgers, bacon-infused creations, and unparalleled selection of craft beer, popular Southern California burger restaurant Slater’s 50/50 will open the first of three Las Vegas locations in July 2018 at 467 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd, Suite 100.

“Slater’s 50/50 was made for Vegas,” said Scott Slater, founder and baron of bacon for Slater’s 50/50. “Fans have been asking for a Las Vegas location for years. The neighborhood needs a place where you can watch the game, get a good meal, and hang out. This is real food, piled high and topped with bacon, and we can’t wait to share it with our new neighbors in Silverado Ranch.”

The Las Vegas restaurant will feature unique menu items like the Impossible Burger and Porkapalooza Platter in addition to menu mainstays, including the Original 50/50 with Slater’s signature 50/50 beef and bacon blend patty, pepper jack cheese, avocado, sunny-side up egg, and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun; the Best Damn Bacon Cheeseburger with Black Canyon Angus beef, thick-cut bacon, grilled onions, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and thousand island on a brioche bun; the P.B. & Jellousy with Black Canyon Angus beef, thick-cut bacon, natural peanut butter, and strawberry jelly on a honey wheat bun; and the Rosemary Turkey Burger with spiced all-natural turkey with rosemary-parmesan bacon, smoked gouda, organic greens, pickled red onions, roasted red peppers, tomato, and garlic aioli on a honey wheat bun. A variety of sides, salads, wings, flatbreads, and local specials will also be featured as well as vegetarian options.

Additionally, 50 craft beers will be on tap, including a special showcase of local brews from Crafthaus, Tenaya Creek, and Bad Beat Brewery. A full bar, signature boozy milkshakes, and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Honoring the Las Vegas community, the venue decor will include life-sized Vegas-style marquee letters greeting guests as they arrive, two walls made from hundreds of tap handles, and pop art pieces of Slater’s signature burgers, all designed and created by local craftsmen and artists.

“Slater’s 50/50 may be a national brand, but we pride ourselves on creating a sense of community around each location that opens. Las Vegas is no exception,” said Cindy Sun, general manager of Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas. “We nested our first store in the heart of Silverado Ranch so that our local fans could get their bacon on in a neighborhood environment.”

Staying true to Slater’s 50/50’s core value to “feed your insatiable hunger to improve,” this new Las Vegas location will be offering up to 100 percent tuition reimbursement at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and at College of Southern Nevada for all team members that qualify. With its arrival, Slater’s 50/50 Las Vegas is also expected to bring 40 new jobs to the area.

CraftHaus Brewery is set to celebrate its second year of craft beer with a bomb of a party! The brewery has seen amazing growth, positive reception from the community and plans to keep focused on the future of quality craft beer.

Over the last year, CraftHaus has offered 46 different beers for the community to explore right along with them. The bulk of these beers are thanks to innovative brewers, Steph Cope and Steve Brockman implementing the Tweaked series. This series allows the brewers to explore with interesting and different takes on their core and seasonal beers. The brewery also added 40 barrels or 1,200 gallons to their current 110 barrels of fermentation. “Our growth compared to last year at this time is over 100%, which is a testament to our community’s support,” said Dave Forrest, Co-Owner CraftHaus Brewery.

Offering distinct, quality driven beers lies at the core of CraftHaus’ values. “Seeing the overwhelmingly positive response from our community is the reason we wanted to build this brewery. We are proud to share in the growth of Las Vegas’ craft community,” added Wyndee Forrest, Co-Owner, CraftHaus Brewery.

During the past year, CraftHaus has received widespread local recognition and acclaim. The Mirage Resort asked CraftHaus to create an exclusive beer, Island Hopper, for their property, which can be found year round. CraftHaus Brewery will be celebrating its second year anniversary with the Hop Bomb Party on Saturday, September 17th from 5pm-11pm at the brewery. With over 20 beers on tap, they will be releasing new beers, reviving past beers, hosting special guest taps from their friends and fellow regional breweries along with launching a triple IPA, Hop Bomb, to celebrate.
