The unbelievably funny and electrifying Gabriel Iglesias adds March 29 – 31 and May 25 – 27 to his 2018 ‘Aces of Comedy’ series schedule. Newly announced Nick Swardson also will make his return to the Terry Fator Theater Friday, April 27. Tickets are on sale now.

Gabriel Iglesias, known as the “fluffy” comic in a Hawaiian shirt will return to The Mirage in 2018 with a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to life. Last night (Saturday, Sept. 24) singer/songwriter Usher stopped by 1 OAK Nightclub inside the Mirage Hotel & Casino after his performance at the sold out iHeart Radio Music Festival to celebrate the release of his eighth studio album “Hard II Love.”

Just after 1:30 a.m., the “Yeah!” singer arrived at the nightlife destination where he posed for photographers before making his way inside. Looking handsome in a black bomber jacket and jeans, the singer and his group settled into their VIP table where he was surprised by a group of beautiful cocktail waitresses awaiting him with giant gold balloons spelling out “Usher.” DJ Gusto shouted his name and fans cheered as soon as they caught their first glimpse of the heartthrob. Filled with excitement, the “No Limit” singer immediately jumped on the mic to greet his fans and thanked them for coming to party with him.

Adding to the excitement of the night, hip hop artist Ludacris joined Usher at the table where the duo performed a number of their hit songs including “Yeah!” and “What’s Your Fantasy” among others. Keeping the energy and surprises coming, Lil Jon hit the decks where the trio performed their hit song “Lovers and Friends” together as the crowd went wild. The entire room was up and dancing as the three continued to perform their hits including Lil Jon’s “Get Low” and “Turn Down For What” and Usher’s “No Limit.”

Also spotted celebrating with the R&B star were Lea Michele, Wilmer Valderrama, and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski. The “Scream Queens” starlet stunned In a studded black dress while she sipped on cocktails and mingled with her friends. The “That 70s Show” alum looked handsome and laid-back dressed in black pants and a black plaid shirt while he danced and sang along with the rest of the group. The “Fashion Police” host looked dapper sporting a floral bomber jacket and jeans while he mingled with his group.

To top off the celebratory evening the GRAMMY-Award winner was greeted by a parade of cocktail waitresses who presented him with champagne and a tiered gold and black cake, which featured the cover art of his new album. Enjoying a night out with his good friends, the “Love in this Club” artist was seen in high spirits as he sipped on cocktails, performed his hit songs and celebrated the release of his first album in four years before leaving the nightspot shortly after 3:00 a.m.

Derek Jeter Hosts the Official After Party for his 2nd Annual Celebrity Invitational at 1 OAK Las Vegas

American baseball player Derek Jeter hosted the official after party for his 2nd Annual Celebrity Invitational at 1 OAK Nightclub inside the Mirage Hotel & Casino. 

Celebrating the success of his annual golf tournament fundraiser, the baseball all-star was joined by friends and family including NBA all-star Ray Allen and his sister Sharlee Jeter among others as he arrived to the nightspot around midnight. Upon arrival, his group was escorted to a VIP table behind the DJ booth where DJ Premier was laying down chart-topping hits for the crowded room.

Adding to the excitement of the night, hip-hop artist Mase jumped on the mic for a special performance of his hit songs “Feel So Good,” “What You Want,” and “Been Around the World.” After the performance, the singer made his way over to Jeter’s table, where the two met for the first time.

The former Yankee was seen in high spirits as he socialized with his friends while they sipped on cocktails, and danced before leaving around 3 a.m.

Last night (Saturday, Sept. 12) professional poker player, actor and internet sensation Dan Bilzerian hosted an unforgettable affair at 1 OAK Nightclub inside the Mirage Hotel & Casino. After getting settled in his suite, the Instagram star headed down to the Las Vegas hot spot where he posed for a few photos on the red carpet while hundreds of fans chanted his name. Bilzerian was then escorted to a VIP table behind the DJ booth where he and his friends were greeted by a parade of cocktail waitresses showcasing a giant Dan head and a photo of his pet goat, Zeus. DJ E-Rock kept the party going all night with a slew of chart-topping hits and enough bass to last into the early morning. Bilzerian was seen in high spirits with his friends, laughing and joking around. He even got on the mic a few times to pump up the already excited crowd. At this new 149-seat restaurant, homespun recipes made from fresh, wholesome ingredients are always on the menu. Served in a cozy environment reminiscent of a French country kitchen, each dish is prepared with love and attention to detail. Just like at mom’s house, breakfast is available 24-hours a day to satisfy cravings around the clock.

Homespun recipes will season the menu at Pantry, the new 24-hour restaurant opening this September at The Mirage Hotel & Casino. Centrally located to provide convenient access from the guest elevators and casino floor, the restaurant will feature wholesome favorites such as piping hot soups, crisp green salads, fully loaded sandwiches and classic desserts made from the freshest sustainable ingredients for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night. Breakfast will be available 24-hours a day for guests wishing to enjoy fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets and robust scrambles, even after traditional breakfast hours. The bar will offer coffee and tea selections as well as varieties of fruit and farm fresh vegetable juices including Pomegranate, Carrot Orange Mango, and Cucumber Pineapple Ginger, with each option providing maximum nutrition and flavor.

Designed by Munge Leung, the restaurant’s exquisite hardwood floors and bright white walls lined with cabinets housing fine china will create an ambiance reminiscent of a family kitchen. Chalkboards will detail daily specials while clocks and art pieces symbolic of the nation’s history add a nostalgic feel to the dining room. Friendly servers dressed in soft denim and flannel shirts complete the welcoming, relaxed experience.

“Pantry will provide guests at The Mirage a place to enjoy recognizable favorites 24 hours a day,” said Trevor Scherrer, president and COO of The Mirage. “The approachable menu and cozy, inviting décor create a venue guests can feel comfortable visiting in the morning prior to a day at the pool, before enjoying one of our many shows or after dancing the night away at 1OAK nightclub.”

Pantry’s menu highlights include:

Breakfast (served 24 Hours):

  • Cinnamon Roll French Toast, a sweet breakfast treat made with caramelized bananas, macerated berries topped with a generous helping of mascarpone vanilla cream.
  • Feta and Spinach Scrambled Eggs, three eggs blended with roasted tomatoes, spinach, onions and feta cheese served with house-made breakfast potatoes and a choice of toast.
  • Short Rib Pot Roast Hash, a decadent dish made with braised short rib and poached eggs served with a choice of toast.


Lunch and Dinner (served 11 a.m. – 6 a.m.)

  • Mahi-Mahi Tacos, delicate mahi-mahi topped with tangy chow chow relish and avocado served alongside a cup of spicy basil cream for dipping.
  • Clam Chowder, Creamy New England –style clam chowder cooked with smoky Hobbs bacon served with traditional oyster crackers.
  • Chopped Vegetable Salad, leafy greens packed with avocado, grapes, tomatoes, radishes, roasted beets and white beans drizzled with herb vinaigrette.
  • Natural Honey Roasted Turkey “BLT,” The Pantry’s take on the beloved classic made with turkey bacon, tomato, avocado, greens and ciabatta bread.
  • Texas Pete Fried Natural Chicken, crispy fried chicken served with carrot-potato mash, aromatic red onion jam and a flaky house-made biscuit.


Dessert (served 24 Hours)

  • Seasonal Fruit Cobbler, Southern-inspired cobblers filled with seasonal fruits presented warm or à la mode.
  • On the Spot Baked Cookies, selections made from scratch and served fresh from the oven with a cold glass of organic milk.

Comedian, actor, writer and producer Nick Swardson will return to The Mirage Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26 for two nights of hysterical comedy as part of the resort’s Aces of Comedy series. Swardson is best known for co-creating and starring in the sketch series “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time.” He has co-written and produced movies such as “Grandma’s Boy,” “Malibu’s Most Wanted” and “Benchwarmers.”
