On April 17, The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will celebrate ten years as the most dynamic, sophisticated and authentic venue in Las Vegas. The celebration begins on Tuesday, April 16 with a sold-out show featuring English pop rock band The 1975. On Saturday, April 20, Slightly Stoopid will continue the celebration when they hit The Joint with their annual 420 party. Tickets for Slightly Stoopid are still available.

 

The Joint originally opened in 1995 but underwent a makeover in April of 2009. The renovation transformed the iconic showroom, doubling it in size. Since its reopening, The Joint has hosted a variety of incredible shows including Paul McCartney, KISS, Imagine Dragons, Kenny Chesney, Drake and Tiësto. The venue has proven to be extremely versatile and has also played host to combat fights, comedy shows and award shows among other world-class entertainment. The Joint was a leader in Las Vegas’ residency rise with Carlos Santana’s “Supernatural Santana: A Trip through the Hits” in 2009.

WHAT:
The Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar Las Vegas menu features an updated version of the classic American cuisine that has made the restaurant a staple throughout the Midwest since its founding in Springfield, MO nearly 13 years ago. Animal Planet’s Tanked® Unveils Holiday-Themed Aquarium At Ethel M Chocolates

The famed Ethel M Cactus Garden took on a new complexion this holiday season: the arrival of an underwater environment amid the festival lights. Animal Planet’s hit TV Show, Tanked®, made a visit to Ethel M Chocolates Factory this month where the Las Vegas duo of Wayde King and Brett Raymer of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing constructed a custom holiday-themed aquarium to go along with Ethel M Chocolates’ 25th Annual Holiday Cactus Garden Lights display. The tank will debut in the show’s holiday episode, A Merry Fishy Christmas, airing December 14, 9 p.m. EST / PT on Animal Planet, and will remain in the garden until January 6.

The show earned its name by creating some of the world’s most opulent fish tanks for celebrity clients. The brothers-in-law and business partners behind Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, wanted to bring a holiday, cactus-themed tank to Ethel M’s cactus garden in time for the garden’s annual holiday light display which is free to the public.

The tank exhibits fake cacti to replicate Ethel M Chocolates’ cactus garden, freshwater plants, and GloFish® to simulate the holiday lights. Standing seven feet tall, the six-foot wide tank is filled with 520 gallons of fresh water and weighs in at close to 6,000 pounds. It is located in the heart of the Cactus Garden Holiday Light display, which features three acres of cacti decorated in over a million colorful lights to celebrate the holiday season.

“Thanks to Animal Planet’s well-known Las Vegas duo, we are excited to debut a custom tank among this year’s holiday lights,” said Oren Young, General Manager of Ethel M Chocolates. “We’re excited the addition of the tank will offer both our visitors and fans of the show a dynamic, new experience in our garden, in addition to our new life-sized snow globe and outdoor food truck.”

The tank will remain in the cactus garden through January 6. The holiday cactus garden and factory store are open November 6 – January 6, from 8am – 10pm, with the exception of Christmas day. Brothers David Morton and Michael Morton’s luxury steakhouse, MB Steak at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, will celebrate the countdown to 2019 with a decadent prix fixe dinner highlighting Wagyu steak, crab legs and truffles on Monday, Dec. 31.

 

The four-course dinner, prepared by Executive Chef Patrick Munster, with pairings by sommelier, Max MacPhail, will include:

  • First course:
    • Grilled Alaskan crab legs with organic caviar butter and shaved apple.
    • Pairing: Jeio (by Bisol) Brut Prosecco, Italy MV
  • Second course:
    • Winter risotto with roasted parsnip, leeks and truffles, shaved tableside.
    • Pairing: Miner Chardonnay, Napa Valley, CA 2016
  • Third course:
    • 6-ounce Snake River American Wagyu steak with braised Tuscan kale and pomegranate port reduction.

The New Year’s Eve dinner will be priced at $125 per person with optional wine pairings priced at an additional $59. The new year is looking bright with Carlos Santana returning to the stage at House of Blues Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in January, but today, the guitar legend is excited to announce even more opportunities for people to enjoy the live concert experience in 2019 by adding additional spring dates for An Intimate Evening with Santana: Greatest Hits Live. Tickets for the May 2019 performances will go on sale Friday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. Tickets for all previously announced show dates are currently on sale. All shows begin at 8 p.m.

Sixth Annual “style with a cause” Empowers and Inspires Women While Raising Funds to Benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates

 

 More than 200 fashion-forward guests filled The Gramercy Residences for the sixth annual style with a cause (SWAC) benefiting the Court Appointed Special Advocate’s (CASA) programs that help identify and fund the individual needs of abused and neglected children in foster care in Clark County.

The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception featuring tasty bites provided by Pinches Tacos, DW Bistro, Kitchen Table Squared, and cocktails by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. During the reception, guests enjoyed interactive activations, including organization classes hosted by Melanie Walker and the Neat Method team, dry stylings by Vent Blotique, a temporary tattoo parlor, psychic and spiritual readings provided by Dallisa Hocking and her spiritual tribe of Spirit & Spark, and an art wall where guests were invited to write down what empowers them.

Host and SWAC Founder Jenna Doughton welcomed everyone as they took their seats for a fashion show featuring the latest fall trends presented by Saks Fifth Avenue. Tickets for Select 2019 Performances Go on Sale Friday, Sept. 21 at Noon

A full house of top-tier comedians are scheduled to headline the 2019 Aces of Comedy series inside The Mirage Hotel & Casino. “Fluffy” comedian Gabriel Iglesias, “Last Comic Standing” champion Iliza Shlesinger and Comedy Central host Daniel Tosh, among others, are set to deliver the royal flush of comedy next year inside the Terry Fator Theatre. Conquering the stage for the first time is Travel Channel host Bert Kreischer who will make his debut at The Mirage early next year.

Tickets for the 2019 Aces of Comedy series go on sale Friday, Sept. 21 at noon with the exception of Bert Kreischer, Jay Leno, Jim Jefferies and Ron White.  Tickets for White go on sale Friday, Sept. 28 at noon, tickets for Leno and Jefferies will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 5 at noon and tickets for Kreischer will go on sale Monday, Oct. 1 at noon. Bert Kreischer will make his Aces of Comedy debut inside the Terry Fator Theatre this February. American Idol: Live! 2018 tour will come to Orleans Arena on Sunday, July 29 at 7 p.m., bringing one of the nation’s best-loved television shows on the road to Las Vegas.
