Southern Nevada Public Television will host its 26th Annual “Splendor in the Glass” Wine & Beer Tasting event from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino Ballroom. The event benefits programming and community outreach initiatives for Vegas PBS. Also, Chef Hubert Keller will be presenting a cooking demonstration with some of his favorite dishes. Chef Keller is the owner of Las Vegas restaurants Fleur and Burger Bar. This celebrity of the cooking world is featured in Vegas PBS’ “Hubert Keller: Secrets of a Chef.”

“This annual wine tasting event is a great opportunity to bring our supporters together to celebrate the success of Vegas PBS in the community and raise the funds needed to support programming and outreach in the year ahead. In fact, this is as our signature fundraising event,” Southern Nevada Public Television Board President Lori Lea said.

At the event, guests can sample from a wide variety of wines and beers from 60 wineries and breweries courtesy of Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada, enjoy hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, participate in both a live wine auction and silent auction, and listen to the music of the Woody Woods Jazz Combo.

Tickets are $85 for advance purchase and $100 the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased online at, at the Vegas PBS Educational Technology Campus located at 3050 E. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, Nevada, or at all locations of Lee’s Discount Liquor, Total Wine & More and Whole Foods Market.

Southern Nevada’s Premiere Culinary Extravaganza is Back at The Palazzo for the Fifth Year

The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair returns to The Palazzo® Las Vegas on Thursday, May 22. Sponsored by the Nevada Restaurant Association (NvRA), the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair showcases prestigious restaurants and beverage purveyors that have elevated Las Vegas to an international dining destination. The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Pools at The Palazzo. Tickets for the event are $175 for VIP tickets, which include early admission at 6 p.m., a VIP exclusive reception with passed hors d’oeuvrs and beverages with a meet and greet with Chef Julian Serrano from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and a gift bag for the first 150 VIP guests; $155 for early admission at 6:00 p.m., and $105 for general admission.
