“Las Vegas Invades Tales of the Cocktail” will bring some of Las Vegas’s most renowned mixologists and venues to New Orleans for one special evening. 
Tales of the Cocktail®, the world’s premier cocktail festival, is bringing Las Vegas to New Orleans for one special evening event that will expose 1,500 attendees to the best of Las Vegas bartending. Sponsored and coordinated by Back Bar USA, a wine, beer and spirits marketing, consulting and design firm, “Las Vegas Invades Tales of the Cocktail” will feature some of the best Las Vegas mixologists and venues during a night that will epitomize the spirit of Las Vegas with Rat Pack-style entertainment, showgirls and restaurateurs.
“Those of us in Las Vegas know that it is a significant place in the world of mixology,” said Tim Haughinberry, founder of Back Bar USA. “This is our chance to highlight the best of the best and prove our position to industry leaders who are under-exposed to the city’s top-quality offerings.”
“Las Vegas Invades Tales of the Cocktail” will be held Thursday, July 17 from 5-8 p.m. at the Masquerade Nightclub inside Harrah’s New Orleans. The event features prominent mixologists, such as “Modern Mixologist” Tony Abou-Ganim and Francesco Lafranconi from Southern Wine and Spirits. Strip resort mixologists will display their techniques and talents in creating signature cocktails made with the world’s leading spirit brands and the freshest ingredients.
“Tales of the Cocktail is the elite bartender event of the year and I am thrilled to see Las Vegas have a strong presence this year to show off the talent and creativity that this wonderful city has to offer,”  said Abou-Ganim.

Southern Nevada’s Premiere Culinary Extravaganza is Back at The Palazzo for the Fifth Year

The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair returns to The Palazzo® Las Vegas on Thursday, May 22. Sponsored by the Nevada Restaurant Association (NvRA), the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair showcases prestigious restaurants and beverage purveyors that have elevated Las Vegas to an international dining destination. James Beard award-winning chef Julian Serrano will be the host of the culinary celebration.Hosted at The Palazzo for the fifth year, guests attending the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair will partake in an enticing evening, sampling cuisine and cocktails at the luxurious poolside setting at The Palazzo.“The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is one of our favorite evenings of the year and we’re thrilled to partner with the Nevada Restaurant Association to bring the event back to The Palazzo for the fifth year,” said Sebastien Silvestri, vice president of food and beverage for The Venetian and The Palazzo. “It’s an amazing opportunity for guests to enjoy delicious selections from the best chefs in Las Vegas at a gorgeous poolside affair.”

The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Pools at The Palazzo. Tickets for the event are $175 for VIP tickets, which include early admission at 6 p.m., a VIP exclusive reception with passed hors d’oeuvrs and beverages with a meet and greet with Chef Julian Serrano from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and a gift bag for the first 150 VIP guests; $155 for early admission at 6:00 p.m., and $105 for general admission.
