The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair returns to The Palazzo® Las Vegas on Thursday, May 22. Sponsored by the Nevada Restaurant Association (NvRA), the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair showcases prestigious restaurants and beverage purveyors that have elevated Las Vegas to an international dining destination. James Beard award-winning chef Julian Serrano will be the host of the culinary celebration.Hosted at The Palazzo for the fifth year, guests attending the Las Vegas Epicurean Affair will partake in an enticing evening, sampling cuisine and cocktails at the luxurious poolside setting at The Palazzo.“The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is one of our favorite evenings of the year and we’re thrilled to partner with the Nevada Restaurant Association to bring the event back to The Palazzo for the fifth year,” said Sebastien Silvestri, vice president of food and beverage for The Venetian and The Palazzo. “It’s an amazing opportunity for guests to enjoy delicious selections from the best chefs in Las Vegas at a gorgeous poolside affair.”
This year, participants include Aquaknox, B&B Ristorante, Bouchon, Buddy V’s, Burger Bar, Carmine’s, Carnevino, DB Brasserie, Delmonico Steakhouse, Ferraro’s, Herbs & Rye, Il Mulino, Simon Restaurant & Lounge, TAO Asian Bistro and Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio, as well as many other illustrious Las Vegas restaurants.
“This event is the perfect way to showcase the wonderful restaurants and beverage purveyors of the city and to raise money for scholarships for our ProStart high school students,” said NvRA President and CEO Katherine Jacobi. “The Pools at The Palazzo are an incredible backdrop for this exciting event.”
The Las Vegas Epicurean Affair is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, May 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Pools at The Palazzo. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.palazzo.com or any Venetian or Palazzo box office. Tickets for the event are $175 for VIP tickets, which include early admission at 6 p.m., a VIP exclusive reception with passed hors d’oeuvrs and beverages with a meet and greet with Chef Julian Serrano from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., and a gift bag for the first 150 VIP guests; $155 for early admission at 6:00 p.m., and $105 for general admission. Last night, Palms celebrated the return of the weekly Thursday night duck partyat Palms Place Pool. More than 25,000 rubber ducks invaded the ultra-modern pool, while playful partygoers searched for specially marked ducks redeemable for various prizes at Palms. DJ Stephi K provided an evening of electric dance music perfect to dive into the weekend.
Simon Restaurant & Lounge chef and owner Kerry Simon joined in the fun, making this year’s first duck party the “it” place for Thursday evenings. Duck party early birds can enjoy Simon’s delectable Happy Hour menu served from 4-7 p.m.

Rain Nightclub inside the Palms: Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas rocked the crowd in Rain Nightclub on Friday night with an amazing performance and DJ Set.
Also on Friday Nascar drivers Danica Patrick and Cole Whitt did an autograph signing for about 250 fans inside the Palms Casino Resort.

After the signing Danica and her husband Paul Hospenthal had dinner at Simon Restaurant & Lounge. Danica enjoyed Kerry Simon’s signature Crispy Sesame Rice for her appetizer and the Big Eyed Tuna for her entrée. For the dessert they enjoyed the Cotton Candy.
The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka along with his girlfriend Ashley Vickers had dinner at Simon Restaurant & Lounge inside Palms Place Hotel And Spa on Sunday night. Jake enjoyed the filet migon and a twice baked potato and he also took a photo with Chef Kerry.
