ABOUT CHOCOLATE & SPICE BAKERY
Noted pastry chef and It’s A Sweet Life cookbook author Megan Romano opened Chocolate & Spice Bakery in May 2012.  Known for her signature hand-crafted confections, Romano is a veteran of such venerable restaurants as Aureole, Lespinasse and Charlie Trotter, boasting a strong culinary background that extends far beyond the pastry kitchen.

Offering both sweet and savory selections, the eatery has quickly become a neighborhood favorite amongst the Las Vegas community and was awarded Best New Bakery by Vegas Seven magazine and was honorably mentioned in Eating Las Vegas: The 50 Essential Restaurants, in addition to many positive raves and reviews.

The early morning menu includes coffee, croissants and breakfast frittatas as well as sandwiches and salads that will satisfy at nearly any time of day. Yet Romano’s signature sweets are what truly make Chocolate & Spice a dessert destination.  Artisan chocolates, including bon bons, truffles and bark share the stage with ice creams and shakes while tarts, pies and cakes are available for pick up and can be custom ordered to suit any occasion.
