Forum Shops Announces Second Annual Great Give

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, Luxury Magazine and Retailers Join Forces for Second Annual GREAT GIVE in Support of Numerous Non-Profits Dec. 1-15
Local Charities, Shops and Restaurants including Links of London, Mulberry, Sandro, Anne Fontaine, Hugo Boss, Donald J Pliner, Charlotte Olympia and more with a Variety of Non-Profits including American Red Cross, Candlelighters, Nevada Ballet Theatre, Make-A-Wish and others
  In the spirit of the season, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace presents its second annual GREAT GIVE from Dec. 1-15. Partnering a number of its world-renowned retailers with a variety of local and national non-profits the two-week shopping event benefits a wide variety of charities and causes. Each participating retailer has a designated charity and will either donate a portion of sales from specific items, donate a flat percentage of sales or raise funds directly to benefit their partner charity.
“It was wonderful to see so many our retailers supporting charitable organizations and giving back last year,” said Maureen Crampton, Director of Business Development and Marketing at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. “This year, by partnering with our friends at Luxury Magazine and presenting a united program under the umbrella of the GREAT GIVE, we are able to collectively promote it and encourage guests to shop at their favorite shops and support many worthy causes during this time.”
*Participating retailers and their non-profit partners enjoyed a kick-off reception at The Palm Las Vegas inside The Forum Shops on Thursday, November 16th to mark the occasion.

Of course, with the holidays fast approaching, The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace is ready to celebrate the season and help you deliver the perfect gift. On Friday, Nov. 24 and Saturday, Nov. 25, costumed Centurions will be roaming the center with special surprises for guests. 
Throughout the season, be sure to stop by the Atlantis Aquarium for a festive sight – the Holiday Elf Aquarists. Adorned with elf-style wet suits during this holiday season, the Elf Aquarists will feed the tropical fish beginning Dec. 15 throughout Christmas Day. Also, enjoy the whimsy and wonder of the captivating holiday store window displays and marvel among the classic Roman columns, arches and awe-inspiring statues that come to life. Aside from taking Edie Campbell back to black exclusively for Hugo Boss’s Fall/Winter 2015 show, Redken Global Creative Director Guido created a natural, sophisticated look for the runway this season. Guido used Redken’s Satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to achieve a smooth, luxurious blow out, and then pulled the hair back into a simple, modern low ponytail for an easy, effortless feeling.

 

“The Hugo Boss idea of a woman is very sophisticated and modern, so I created this very natural, simple, low ponytail for this season’s show. I used Redken’s Satinwear 02 to get that very luxurious, smooth blow out, and then created a clean center part and tucked the hair behind the ears and pulling back into a sleek, low ponytail at the base of the head. I left the ends of the hair a little bit natural so it doesn’t look so polished or like you’re trying to hard – it feels very easy. And then there’s Edie [Cambell], who I took back to black exclusively for the show. We just did it two days ago, and it’s suits her quite nicely. It’s quite a bold look, and it’s not for everyone, but it just fits her personality.”

Create the Look:

  1. Start with clean hair by washing with Redken’s new Frizz Dismiss Sulfate-Free Shampoo and Conditioner
  2. Apply a quarter-size amount of Redken Satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion throughout damp hair, using fingers to work into the hair from roots to tips
  3. Using a comb, create a clean center part
  4. Blow dry hair until smooth using a flat or round brush
  5. Pull hair back into a low ponytail, securing at the base of the head with an elastic and leaving the ends of the hair natural

Redken Creative Consultant Guido used satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to give the models a frizz-free finish with silky smoothness. Once the hair was pulled back into a tight low ponytail, Guido applied forceful 23 super strength finishing spray to his hands before smoothing out any remaining flyaways. The style is simple, elegant and wearable.

Create the Look:

  1. Apply pillow proof blow dry express primer to damp hair
  2. Apply satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion
  3. Blowdry hair until smooth with natural bristle brush
  4. Create a deep clean side part
  5. Pull back into ponytail and secure with elastic
  6. Spray forceful 23 super strength finishing spray onto hands before smoothing away any flyaways
  7. Use a curling iron to add movement into the ponytail if necessary
