Delmonico Steakhouse is hosting a four course pairing dinner with Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey on Thursday, Oct. 23. Chef de Cuisine Ronnie Rainwater and Buffalo Trace representative Kris Komstock will take guests through each course and explain the pairings. A reception will begin at 7 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and a bourbon cocktail created by Mixologist Max Solano. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. The event is $200 per person plus tax and 20 percent gratuity.

Delmonico Steakhouse is open for lunch daily from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner Sun.-Thurs. from 5-10 p.m., Fri.-Sat. from 5-10:30 p.m. The restaurant also has a Fall Cocktail Hour from 4:30-6 p.m. daily in the bar area with food and drink specials.

Today, Chef Marvin and team announce the arrival of Echo & Rig’s Happiest Hours – a mash-up on the traditional concepts of the Happy Hour and the Late Night menu.  “I never look to change things just to change them, but I’m always looking for a way to make an idea better,” explains Marvin. “Since we opened, we’ve been asking our guests what they would like to see us add to our offerings, and the most popular were a Happy Hour and a Late Night Menu – well, we’ve listened and now we have not one, but two versions of the traditional concept.”

 

The first three hour block is 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (seven days a week), while the late night hours stretch from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. (Monday thru Saturday). Regardless if you are feeling the happiness when the sun is still up or already set, customers at Echo & Rig can grab a seat at the downstairs cocktail bar or charcuterie bar and order up $10 pitchers, $1 Fresh Butcher Hot Dog, Free Cocktail of the Day for the Ladies, Singles Turn into Doubles for the Men and of course, Echo & Rig’s new versions of timeless classics like $1.99 Steak & Eggs and the $1.99 Shrimp Cocktail.  

 

“For our version of steak & eggs, we use only freshly cut beef from our own butcher shop and farm fresh eggs; sometimes pairing the iconic dish with a surprise side,” notes Marvin.  “When it comes to the shrimp cocktail, our guests will be treated to icy-cold fresh prawns served with our proprietary house-made cocktail sauce.  Pair those with any of the special cocktails we are serving and I think late afternoon/late night fare just got a whole lot tastier.”

Today, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, launched its new menu nationwide featuring dry-aged steaks, bold cuts and enticing Steak Companions. The restaurant debuted dry aging preparation for richer, bolder flavor on select cuts and delicious Steak Companions and sauces for an elevated taste experience that goes above and beyond the classic steak.

“We’ve crafted an indulgent menu with a spotlight on steak, but take each cut to the next level,” said Chef Russell Skall, Fleming’s Corporate Executive Chef. “We’re introducing preparation techniques like dry aging our Prime beef on popular cuts, to serving each steak with surprising flavor profiles – we’ve got something for the purists and the adventurers.”

All steak cuts are classically and expertly seasoned with kosher salt and black pepper then broiled at 1600 degrees or iron-crusted and finished with butter and fresh parsley. Delicious new items and preparation techniques include:

Steak Companions:

  • Truffled Poached Lobster with bernaise sauce and caviar
  • Diablo Shrimp baked with a spiced barbeque butter sauce
  • King Crab with Herb Butter simmered with fresh herbs and garlic and topped with caviar

Varied Preparation Techniques:

Review: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Las Vegas

Vegas24Seven entered the culinary world known as Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and exited as one of their biggest fans. This place has everything. Great facilities and ambiance, a happy hour to die for, an excellent menu packed with all our favorites, exceptional service and the food oooooh the food. Almost beyond description. And they’ll help you choose just the right wine to go with it from their huge wine list. They only difficult thing about going to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is choosing from all the great foods.

 

We chose the french quarter barbecue shrimp, the Fleming’s salad, signature onion rings, Fleming’s potatoes, petite filet mignon, bone-in ribeye, dry rubbed ribeye and how about that prime rib. And then topped it off with espresso, cheesecake and the chocolate lave cake. Everything was just fantastic and we were beyond very happy. What a great experience and evening.
