ICEBAR AT THE NOW TAKING GROUP BOOKINGS

ICEBAR, a brand-new project created by Noel Bowman of Minus5 Ice Experience, opens this November at The LINQ Promenade and is now taking bookings for private events. Located steps away from the new Caesars Forum conference center, which will open in 2020, ICEBAR will offer the unforgettable frozen ambience, customizable ice artistry and frosty cocktails familiar to fans of Minus5, as well as feature new, immersive features such as dynamic projection mapping

“ICEBAR offers a completely hassle-free experience for private groups,” said Noel Bowman, owner, ICEBAR. “Our friendly, professional staff ensures every detail is perfect, while our customizable ice sculptures can add a truly memorable element to the event.”

ICEBAR hosts a total of 500 guests: 150 in the frozen ICEBAR, 150 in the warm space and 200 on the open-air patio. Customized ice sculptures can be produced for any occasion, and branded products can even be cleverly showcased while being deep-frozen in crystal-clear blocks of ice. In addition, ICEBAR offers other epic branding opportunities, including the opportunity to project imagery onto a 12-foot-wide LED screen facing The LINQ Promenade, which is traversed by 40,000 visitors a day. Inside, the venue has six 55-inch LED monitors and three projector walls.

Everything inside the frozen space in ICEBAR is constructed with ice: the walls, the seats and even the glasses in which the venue’s famous libations are served. ICEBAR will have cool, blue and green décor elements and signage on the exterior, as well as a 1,000-square-foot covered patio facing the Promenade’s fountain and a “warm space” devoted to a warm bar and lobby at the front entrance. The ice attraction encompasses 1,200 square feet and more than 100 tons of hand-carved ice. The space is maintained at 32 degrees Fahrenheit by a sophisticated, state-of-the-art refrigeration system.

Visitors to ICEBAR don parkas or faux fur coats to experience the venue’s chill vibe. Enhanced by dazzling artistic elements, ICEBAR showcases high-tech projection mapping, immersive ice sculptures and educational features designed to explore the art of ice. Guests ages 21 and older can select from a signature menu of chilled cocktails—such as The ICE MAN, Frozen Mojito and Frosé, all served in glasses made entirely of ice. The attraction is also family friendly, offering icy mocktails with clever names such as Jack Frost and YETI.

Group bookings are also available at two Minus5 Ice Experiences locations on the Strip. The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino location can accommodate groups of up to 500 guests and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas can accommodate groups up to 200. Similar to ICEBAR, both Minus5 locations have a warm space and a complete ice room featuring unique ice carvings, specialty cocktails, parkas or faux fur coats so guests can take in the cool atmosphere.

For information about ICEBAR or to inquire about booking a private group, visit www.Minus5Experience.com/ICEBAR.

Construction on ICEBAR begins this week to transform the existing space. ICEBAR will have cool, blue and green décor elements and signage on the exterior, as well as a 1,000-square-foot covered patio facing the Promenade’s fountain and a “warm space” devoted to a warm bar and lobby at the front entrance. Customized ice sculptures can be produced for any occasion, and branded products can even be cleverly showcased while being deep-frozen in crystal-clear blocks of ice. ICEBAR can accommodate up to 500 guests for private bookings.

“At The LINQ Promenade, we are always seeking the freshest, most distinctive mix of experiences for our guests,” said Shaun Swanger, senior vice president of attractions, retail and leasing, Caesars Entertainment. “The addition of ICEBAR represents our ongoing commitment to be the most vibrant entertainment, dining and retail destination in Las Vegas.”

Minus5 Ice Experience Celebrates National Rum Day with Blue Chair Bay Rum-Based Cocktail on August 16

MINUS5 ICE EXPERIENCE CELEBRATES NATIONAL RUM DAY WITH BLUE CHAIR BAY RUM-BASED COCKTAIL ON AUGUST 16

Minus5 Ice Experience will celebrate National Rum Day with a smooth as summer rum-based cocktail featuring Blue Chair Bay® Rum on August 16. To recognize this special holiday, the ice experience continues its celebrity cocktail program by honoring Blue Chair Bay Rum creator and country music superstar Kenny Chesney with his signature cocktail. The drink will be available at both the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas and The Shoppes at Mandalay Place locations.

Riptide is the perfect blend of Blue Chair Bay Rum Banana Rum Cream and coconut water, served in a glass made of pure ice. Banana Rum Cream merges the taste of sweet, ripe bananas with surprising notes of caramel and vanilla. With warm and distinctive flavors, guests can kick back and relax, as they take in the all-new, beach-like icy wonderland. In addition, alternative rum flavor profiles are available, including Vanilla Rum and Coconut Spiced Rum.

Guests can indulge in Minus5 newest cocktail while checking out the one-of-a-kind Surf Shack at the Grand Canal Shoppes, created in partnership with Blue Chair Bay Rum. Featuring an eclectic mix of palm trees, beach chairs, surf boards and more, guests can ride the ice-wave and sit on the oversized Adirondack chair for the “coolest” National Rum Day escape in Las Vegas.

Minus5 Ice Experience inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas and The Shoppes at Mandalay Place are the ultimate destinations to enjoy an icy cocktail and celebrate the Caribbean-based spirit. Minus5 Ice Experience to Open Third Las Vegas Location Inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian

MINUS5 ICE EXPERIENCE TO OPEN THIRD LAS VEGAS LOCATION INSIDE THE GRAND CANAL SHOPPES AT THE VENETIAN

Minus5 Ice Experience, the company that launched America’s first ice experience, is gearing up for the warmer weather with the opening of a third Las Vegas location inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. Set to debut this summer 2017, locals and tourists alike will soon be able to enjoy three distinctive winter wonderland experiences in Las Vegas.

“We are excited to expand in our hometown and open our third Minus5 Ice Experience location inside the Grand Canal Shoppes,” said Noel Bowman, president of M5 Management. “Since the opening of our first location in 2008, we have received a wholehearted response from locals, tourists and especially convention-goers, and we plan to build on that success for our third location in the heart of the city.”

The all-new Minus5 Ice Experience at the Grand Canal Shoppes will boast 3,000 square-feet and will feature a 1,500 square-foot ice attraction made with more than 100 tons of 100% pure Canadian ice, complete with a walk-up warm bar. Named for its constant frosty temperature of minus five degrees (twenty-three degrees Fahrenheit), guests will be able to touch, feel and explore handcrafted ice sculptures and architecture – the walls, benches, sculptures, chandeliers, and even the glasses to drink from are made from ice.

Minus5 opened its first U.S. ice experience in 2008 at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place in Las Vegas, and currently operates four company-owned locations in three cities nationwide including Las Vegas, New York, and Orlando.
