Legendary Comedian Jeff Foxworthy Brings the Laughter to
The Venetian Las Vegas for Limited Engagement
Renowned comedian and best-selling author Jeff Foxworthy kicked off his two-show limited engagement at The Venetian Las Vegas on Wednesday, January 24. Foxworthy shined on stage at The Venetian Theatre, and had guests laughing from his down-home humor from the moment he stepped on stage. From his tried and true redneck days to all-new gags, Foxworthy dominated the floor from start to curtain call.
After being welcomed with cheers and praises, Foxworthy started his show with classic Las Vegas gambling jokes before moving onto hilarious relatable experiences with his 81-year-old mother. The crowd was clapping and cheering when Foxworthy jumped into the always entertaining real-life scenarios of wives trying to efficiently pack for upcoming trips. The night ended with the crowd applauding Foxworthy and his hilarity from the last hour and a half.
Guests are able to enjoy the final show during the limited engagement inside The Venetian Theatre on Thursday, January 25, with tickets starting at $69 (plus tax and applicable fees). For more information or to purchase tickets, visit any box office at The Venetian or The Palazzo, online at venetian.com or by calling 702.414.9000 or 866.641.7469.
As one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country, Foxworthy holds the record as the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history. A multi-GRAMMY award nominee, he has also released more than 26 books and in 2014 was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature, a style that has been compared to Mark Twain’s.
He was the host of the hit FOX game show “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” and his other notable television credits include “The American Bible Challenge,” “Bounty Hunters,” and “The American Baking Competition.”
Foxworthy most recently toured with Larry the Cable Guy on the “We’ve Been Thinking Tour,” which featured all new material from both comedians. The live show was filmed as a comedy special in the spring of 2016 and is available on Netflix. Foxworthy also has his own comedy channel “Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup” on Sirius XM.
