ABOUT GRAMATIK:
Gramatik has always been an early adapter. It began at the age of 3, when his mother would catch him glued to the radio in his older sister’s room, checking out the cassette tapes with American funk, jazz, soul and blues. He started making his first beats on an early PC by the time he was 13, and soon the kid from Portoroz, Slovenia figured out how to harvest the power of free file sharing to build a following throughout the US & Europe. Tracks spread, hype grew, tours followed, and before long his digital persona forged the initial inroads into the US market, securing him both a label and an agency.  Gramatik landed on US soil as a fully formed artist who knows how to do things his way.Gramatik recently announced the launch of his own record label Lowtemp and offered his fans a first glimpse of the song with his video for “Bluestep”.  The cut combines the vibes of raw 50’s and 60’s Blues with a melodic, groove-infused Dubstep beat – the result is a signature Gramatik genre clash, also what he refers to as “Bluestep”.This fall we’ll see Gramatik trek across the US and Europe with his Coil production in tow.  The dates will all feature his crew and fellow Lowtemp artist, ExMag supporting alongside HeRobust on select dates. Age of reason or reason enough, the revolution begins now. http://www.gramatik.net

With three levels spanning over 80,000 square feet, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas is one of the largest performance venues in America and is described by People Magazine as being “on the fast path to being Vegas’über cool place.” Located at The LINQ, the open-air district in the center of the Las Vegas Strip, the multi-dimensional space boasts 32 lanes of bowling, five on-site bars and rockin’ comfort food by the world-renowned Bromberg Brothers’ Blue Ribbon Restaurants, including their iconic Fried Chicken celebrated on Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.” On any given night, more than 2,000 concertgoers can enjoy live music programming from the general admission area, the luxurious bowlers’ lounges adjacent to the lanes, or the private lounge boxes overlooking it all. Since opening in March 2014, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas has seen notable performances by Elvis Costello & The Roots, Jane’s Addiction, Phil Lesh & Friends, Primus, O.A.R. and Steve Winwood.

The original location opened in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in 2009 in the former Hecla Iron Works building (built in 1882) and was the first L.E.E.D. certified bowling alley in the world. Sprawling high-definition screens offer guests the opportunity to savor the latest sports game, while children can enjoy their favorite weekend programing, all in the same location.

Hakkasan Las Vegas at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino celebrated Labor Day Weekend with a five-day, action-packed event series, featuring some of the most notable names in dance music including (in event order) Steve Aoki, Hardwell, Calvin Harris, music icon Moby and Tiësto.

The holiday weekend was in full force as Las Vegas’ most buzzed-about nightclub kept the fun going all weekend long.  Kicking off the weekend of festivities Thursday, Aug. 29, was GRAMMY Award-nominated artist Steve Aoki as he spun his classic sounds while entertaining the crowd with his signature antics and customized props from cake-throwing and champagne-spraying, to his C02 hand guns and Indian “Winnetou style” head piece that is fully covered with color changing LED lights – all part of the fun of his signature Hakkasan party, “Neon Future.”

Friday, Aug. 30, Dutch DJ and producer Hardwell took to the tables to delight guests with his blend of progressive and electro-house beats as Netherlands “mash up maestro” Dannic closed out the powerful evening . The dynamic two-some had fans dancing all night long as they put on a pulsating performance for clubgoers.

Continuing to thrill guests with an unparalleled weekend of music  Saturday, Aug. 31, was GRAMMY-Award winning mega-producer and DJ, Calvin Harris, joined by English progressive house DJ Michael Woods. The duo kept the energy up in the main room each with vibrant sets which included their fan-favorite beats.

The most legendary moment of the Labor Day celebrations took place Sunday, Sept. 1, when Hakkasan guests received a special treat as renowned music icon Moby delighted the crowd with an exclusive one-off performancethe first time the GRAMMY Award-nominated artist has performed at the venue. With his 11th studio album “Innocents” set to be released in early October, the legendary musician took a short break from his international tour appearing in Sin City for the first time since 2009.

Wrapping up the weekend of revelry  Monday, Sept. 2, crowd-pleasing Tiësto made the most of the extended weekend’s final moments in a show-stopping DJ set with Tony Arzadon.

Hakkasan’s “open format” club area, the Ling Ling Club, also hosted a wide array of DJ talent throughout the weekend.  Thursday, Aug. 29, guests were delighted by performances from special guest DJ Sid Vicious; Friday, Aug. 30 featured hip-hop legend DJ Ruckus and Saturday, Aug. 31 renowned DJ Irie as they all took turns manning the decks while spinning hard-hitting tracks for partygoers.

MARQUEE NIGHTCLUB AT THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS PRESENTS AXWELL June 10, 2011

MARQUEE NIGHTCLUB AT THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS PRESENTS
AXWELL
June 10, 2011
First Solo Las Vegas Appearance

The Swedish sensation Axwell, one of the top 10 DJs in the world, will be making his solo Las Vegas debut at Marquee Las Vegas Nightclub on Friday, June 10, 2011. Axwell, a member of the infamous Swedish House Mafia, is a certified expert in sending the club into utter meltdown. With Axwell comes larger-than-life tracks with epic hooks and infectious rhythms, switching between house, techno and electro (and everything in-between) without breaking a sweat. It’s perfect match for Marquee’s spectacular stage, dazzling dancers and state of the art sound system, which draws a packed house every night. And with Marquee firmly established as the number one destination for the world’s premier electronic music talent, it’s the perfect time to indulge in Axwell, king of the sun-kissed summer anthem.

Axwell is a superstar DJ and arguably the most successful and influential remixer of the 21st century, as evidenced by the GRAMMY nomination for his remix with Dirty South of Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition.” Axwell’s Midas-like touch has made him the dance hit go-to guy for artists like Madonna, Nelly Furtado, Moby, Flo Rida and Pharrell Williams. Not to mention his original tracks like “Nothing But Love,” a masterful house number featuring fantastic vocals by Errol Reid. On top of what is an already successful solo career, he is one third of Swedish House Mafia with Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello, responsible for smash hits like “One,” “Miami 2 Ibiza” and “Leave The World Behind.” This year, Axwell’s busy touring schedule included the world’s top festivals and clubs, helping to lead him to the Top 10 spot in the famed DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll. Indeed, DJing remains a real passion of his, a way to stay connected with clubbers and their ever-changing tastes. Witness it for yourself at Marquee Las Vegas
