LANCO’s #1 HALLELUJAH NIGHTS Marks New Milestone

LANCO IS THE FIRST COUNTRY BAND IN NEARLY TEN YEARS TO OPEN AT NO. ONE
WITH DEBUT ALBUM ON BILLBOARD TOP COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART

Critics Continue to Praise HALLELUJAH NIGHTS Following Sold-Out Headlining Shows

PLATINUM selling breakthrough band LANCO claims the No. One spot on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week with HALLELUJAH NIGHTS (Arista Nashville), marking the first Country band to open at No. One with a debut album since Lady Antebellum in 2008. Featuring their two-week No. One hit “Greatest Love Story” and their new single “Born To Love You” the “collection puts an anthemic spin on young love and small-town life” (The Tennessean) and has dominated the top of the iTunes Country chart since its release.

“Over the past five years we wanted to ride this dream as far as it would go and it’s hard to find the words to describe our debut record at the top of the chart,” said lead singer Brandon Lancaster. “We couldn’t be more grateful to see people gravitating towards these new songs that represent who we are, and its been wild to see these crowds sing every line back to us.”

Following performances on The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Bachelor, the TODAY Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the “arena-rock leaning band” (Entertainment Weekly) brought their “twangy rock with blistering guitars and chugging rhythms” (Nashville Scene) to capacity crowds this past weekend at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC, Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, PBR in Baltimore and The Bluestone in Columbus, OH. LANCO “has given fans what they’ve been waiting for” (Pop Culture) and critics continue to champion HALLELUJAH NIGHTS, which features 11 tracks co-written by the band’s lead singer and namesake, Brandon Lancaster.

“Percolating country-pop with hooks a-plenty, crunchy beats and charming vocals. Absolutely addictive.” – Music Row

“HALLELUJAH NIGHTS is a sprawling collection of stadium rock, bluesy country and intimate singer-songwriter pop that showcases the band’s disparate musical influences, all tied together by Lancaster’s voice.” – Billboard

“The human connection and deliberation truly makes HALLELUJAH NIGHTS stand out among its modern peers. There’s an actual song cycle, with the end of one track bleeding into the next. It’s possible to discern that each story is happening in the same town to the same characters.” – Rolling Stone

“The quintet seems set to bring the full-band sound back to Country radio.” – Newsday

“Connections are made from the very beginning, tying memories together and weaving a story that leaves you wanting to listen over and over again while getting lost in the music. Their songwriting and storytelling abilities are undoubtedly strong and this album showcases it.” – The Shotgun Seat

“The familiar, couched in the extraordinary….a connection to community built by the bonds of music.” – The Wichita Eagle

Rooted in the southern storytelling of Country music with the modern punch of rock & roll, HALLELUJAH NIGHTS (Arista Nashville) is LANCO’s coming-of-age debut album. They are now the only Country band to achieve a PLATINUM single prior to a debut album release, with the two week No. One “Greatest Love Story.” LANCO’s story begins in the small towns where all five bandmates — Lancaster, bassist Chandler Baldwin, multi-instrumentalist Jared Hampton, drummer Tripp Howell and lead guitarist Eric Steedly — were raised. After they crossed paths in Nashville during their early 20s, LANCO bonded over that shared southern adolescence, while hoping to build a new life in a bigger city. “Few bands have have generated as much buzz as LANCO” (Pop Culture) as their self-titled debut EP, has gained more than 100 million streams. Named “the band to watch” by Bobby Bones, CMT, Entertainment Weekly, Hits Magazine, Pandora, Rolling Stone, Spotify, SIRUIS XM and more, LANCO gained their status from touring the country’s top festivals such as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Watershed and Faster Horses. “Trying to make it in Nashville is no easy feat, but a little determination helped LANCO go from toiling away in bars to opening for Dierks Bentley,” (Associated Press) as they will serve as direct support on his 2018 MOUNTAIN HIGH TOUR launching May 17th. For more information on LANCO and upcoming tour dates, visit www.LANCOMusic.com.

LANCO SURPRISED WITH GOLD FOR “GREATEST LOVE STORY” AFTER STANDING OVATION AT OPRY DEBUT LAST NIGHT

BREAKOUT BAND LANCO SURPRISED WITH GOLD FOR “GREATEST LOVE STORY”
AFTER STANDING OVATION AT OPRY DEBUT LAST NIGHT

The “Sweeping” (HITS Magazine) Top 10 Track Hit No. One on iTunes Country Songs Chart
Immediately After Performance

Emerging Sony Music Nashville band LANCO made their Grand Ole Opry debut last night (10/24) during the ninth annual “Opry Goes Pink.” The five-man band received a standing ovation after offering up a performance of “Trouble Maker” off their self-titled EP, a medley of Alabama’s iconic hits “Dixieland Delight” and “Song of the South” along with their Top 10 single, “Greatest Love Story.” Adding to the band’s night of career firsts, LANCO was surprised with the news that “Greatest Love Story” has been certified GOLD by the RIAA for selling over 500,000 units, and it immediately shot to the No. One spot on the iTunes Country Chart as they walked offstage.

“It was an honor to make our Grand Ole Opry debut during such a special night and take the stage that is the original home to the entire country music genre,” said lead singer Brandon Lancaster. “Since I was six-years-old I remember sitting in those pews and seeing acts like Alabama so to have our families out there watching us was a full circle moment.”

LANCO has built a groundswell movement behind “Greatest Love Story,” with Lancaster as the sole songwriter. It has been 10 years since a country artist/writer has penned a chart topping hit alone as a look back in time to the early 2000’s reveals that the last artists able to make that claim are Taylor Swift (“Our Song”), Zac Brown (“Free”) and Jennifer Nettles’ (“Stay”). That success has propelled Lancaster to the No. One spot on the Top 60 Country Songwriters Chart for three consecutive weeks, based on streams, sales and airplay and he continues to serve as the only artist to earn that honor in 2017.

As a native to the Nashville area, Lancaster’s truly authentic style has resonated with fans through LANCO’s self-titled debut EP, which can now count more than 60 million streams. The band recently wrapped the recording process behind their debut album with award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town), which is slated for release early next year. Named as “the band to watch” by Bobby Bones, CMT, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Spotify and more, LANCO gained their status from touring the country’s top festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Watershed, Faster Horses and more. They will head out on the road in November serving as direct support for Dustin Lynch. For more information on LANCO and upcoming tour dates, visit www.LANCOMusic.com.

Origin of LANCO: Brandon Lancaster Sole Writer Behind “Greatest Love Story”

BRANDON LANCASTER RIDES THE GROUNDSWELL OF “GREATEST LOVE STORY”
SUCCESS TO THE NO. ONE SPOT ON THE TOP 60 COUNTRY SONGWRITERS CHART

LANCO Frontman Makes History With The Smash Hit He Penned Alone In His Bedroom

Songwriter/lead singer Brandon Lancaster of Sony Music Nashville’s breakout band LANCO is earning his stripes in Music City songwriter circles as the sole lyricist behind the band’s hit, “Greatest Love Story.” It has been 10 years since a country artist/writer has penned a chart topping hit alone. A look back in time to the early 2000’s reveals that the last artists able to make that claim are Taylor Swift (“Our Song”), Zac Brown (“Free”) and Jennifer Nettles’ (“Stay”). That success has propelled Lancaster to the No. One spot on the Top 60 Country Songwriters Chart this week, based on streams, sales and airplay.

As a native to the Nashville area, Lancaster’s truly authentic style has resonated with fans through the warm introductory of “Greatest Love Story:” one part classic, one part cutting edge and completely honest. As a co-writer on every song of LANCO’s self-titled debut EP, which can now count more than 60 million streams, Lancaster’s approach to honest Country music storytelling is evident with songs that push the genre forward without losing sight of where it’s been. LANCO recently wrapped the recording process behind their debut album with award-winning producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Cage The Elephant, Little Big Town), which is slated for release early next year.

“There’s so much about my life and career that doesn’t even seem real right now. I wrote a song alone in my bedroom one night about the girl I wanted to marry, and then she actually said yes. Now our story is resonating with people all over the country…it all feels too good to be true,” said Lancaster.

“Greatest Love Story,” is also firmly holding its No. One spot on Shazam’s Country chart, while edging closer to the top of both the radio and sales charts. Named as “the band to watch” by Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Bobby Bones, Spotify and more, LANCO gained their status from touring the country’s top festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Faster Horses and Watershed.
