MIKE TYSON UNVEILS WORLD’S FIRST OFFICIAL MIKE TYSON BITCOIN ATM AT OFF THE STRIP
AT THE LINQ

WHAT:
Bitcoin Direct, LLC, a subsidiary of Conexus Corporation, and Mike Tyson unveiled the world’s first Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM at Off the Strip at The LINQ. This is the first of several Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATMs planned for the Las Vegas community and beyond. The ATM is immediately available for consumer use.

“Our restaurant was selected because it is in a prime location, right in the center of The LINQ Promenade with direct access to thousands of guests every day,” says Tom Goldsbury, founder, Off The Strip at The LINQ.

The Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM provides consumers the ability to instantaneously purchase bitcoin through their mobile devices and should help to bridge the gap between bitcoin users and mainstream pop culture. The most significant difference between purchasing bitcoin from a Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM rather than online is the convenience and privacy that the bitcoin ATM offers to consumers. Consumers can purchase bitcoin from a Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM by simply using their Bitcoin Wallet residing on any handheld device. It can purchase practically anything, from gift cards to electronics to food.

“My fastest knockout in the ring was 30 seconds. My Bitcoin ATM can turn your cash into bitcoin in 20 seconds. Las Vegas is the fight capital of the world, and it is also a notable technology hub, making it a perfect location for the first Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM,” says Tyson. “I am honored to join the bitcoin revolution with my very first bitcoin ATM. This is the first of hopefully many across the globe.”

The ATM is now available at Off The Strip at The LINQ, which is open 23 hours per day.

The LINQ and High Roller Celebrate a Year
at the Heart of the Las Vegas Strip
The LINQ’s debut in 2014 ushered in a new era of Las Vegas hospitality

linq
When The LINQ Promenade debuted in 2014 it brought a new culture and lifestyle to the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. The first outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment district on The Strip, developed by Caesars Entertainment, brough a mix of new brands to Las Vegas as well as some familiar favorites along with festive parties and the world’s tallest observation wheel, the Las Vegas High Roller.

“The LINQ and the High Roller are part of Caesars Entertainment’s vision for the future of Las Vegas,” said Caesars Entertainment Chairman, President and CEO Gary Loveman. “Visitors to Las Vegas are looking for unique experiences that they can’t find anywhere else in the world, and The LINQ delivers something special to The Strip that can’t be matched. The outdoor promenade offers restaurants, shops and entertainment venues that embody both an entrepreneurial spirit and fun.”

The first year at The LINQ brought many exciting events including the Academy of Country Music’s Party for A Cause and Britney Day – a celebration for pop star Britney Spears’ key to The Strip in early November. The LINQ also is the place to celebrate holidays from New Year’s Eve to Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day to Fourth of July – all done with a Vegas flair.

“It’s really been a terrific first year at The LINQ with thousands and thousands of visitors,” Loveman added.

The High Roller also commemorated its first year of operations on March 31, 2015 when it was presented with the very first “Las Vegas Strip Icon Award” on behalf of the Clark County Commission.

In addition to the recent designation by Clark County, the High Roller also received several “Best of Las Vegas” Awards including the “Best Attraction,” “Best Amusement Ride,” and “Best Place to View the City.” The Best of Las Vegas Awards are voted on by readers and editors of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The High Roller was also named a “Must See Attraction” by the Huffington Post.

The LINQ and High Roller observation wheel have also become a place to see and been seen. Celebrities from Giada DeLaurentiis to Mindy Kaling and Jennifer Lawrence to NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson have all been spotted enjoying the High Roller.

A Look Towards the Future
In addition to its successful launch year, The LINQ Promenade continues to grow and evolve. In the first half of 2015, The LINQ saw the addition of sandal boutique Havaianas, Off The Strip restaurant and lifestyle shop Pier 30. As The LINQ Promenade continues to evolve, additional locations will continue to open up and bring new experiences to visitors.

“The LINQ Promenade is a very dynamic environment and our team will continue to find opportunities to bring new shops, restaurants and entertainment venues to our guests,” said Caesars Entertainment President of Hospitality Bob Morse. “From new openings to themed parties to art displays, there is always something happening here at The LINQ and each time you visit us there will always be something new to see.”

The LINQ and High Roller host Celebration Month Activities

During the month of April, The LINQ and the High Roller will celebrate its first year of operations with special offers and parties for guests including:

  • Live entertainment on The LINQ Fountain Stage every Thursday night during April
  • Hoops on The Strip for the Final Four from April 4 to 6

Off The Strip at The LINQ to Open This Holiday Season

OFF THE STRIP AT THE LINQ TO OPEN THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

Longtime Las Vegas Locals Favorite to Bring “Just Real Food” to the Strip

Off The Strip at The LINQ will open this holiday season. A Las Vegas locals’ favorite since 2007, Off The Strip has built a loyal following thanks to its classic bistro and bar comfort food and genuine, personalized service. Next month, that same fare—plus much more—is coming to The LINQ, along with the restaurant’s signature brand of hospitality. The 2-story, 11,000-square-foot restaurant will be open 24 hours, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Founded by brothers Tom Goldsbury and the late Chef Al Hubbard, Off The Strip immediately became a locals’ hotspot when it opened in Southern Highlands seven years ago. One night, renowned restaurant executive Andrew Belmonti dined and immediately loved the food. Belmonti is known throughout the industry for opening more than 20 of the nation’s most successful restaurants, nightclubs and lounges, including N9NE Steakhouse. Around the same time, Off The Strip in Southern Highlands became known to Caesars executives who lived in the area and frequented the restaurant. Caesars eventually approached Goldsbury and Hubbard about bringing their concept to the Strip. It was that same concept that attracted the husband and wife team of James and Diane Cameron to the project, eventually becoming partners with Goldsbury and Belmonti. The rest was history.

The menu will be simple and clean, featuring the signature comfort favorites Off The Strip is known for including steaks, chops, seafood and pasta dishes. The morning menu will be especially noteworthy as it will feature healthy offerings from the “Fresh and Fit” menu. The cocktail program will consist of craft beers and cocktails. All menus will change seasonally.

As for décor, Off The Strip will boast a contemporary design with rich dark woods, stone, brick and metals. Black chalkboards will showcase inspirational sayings. On the first floor, the open and sleek, high-performance kitchen will be the centerpiece which will add to the bustling ambience and energy. A large staircase leading to the second floor will further accent the height of the 15-foot ceilings. For events, meetings and groups, there will be buy-out, banquet and private party capabilities on both floors of the restaurant. Plans for the second floor will be announced in early 2015.

Indoor and outdoor seating will be available, with the latter situated on prime Las Vegas Strip real estate—the Promenade at The LINQ—and ample opportunity for people-watching. Guests will have direct access to The LINQ Hotel & Casino, as well as The High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel.

“Our customers are family to us and that’s how we treat them. We touch every guest and make sure everyone is having a great meal with us,” says Tom Goldsbury, founder, Off The Strip. “Our food is homegrown fare that’s now found its way to the Strip. With Off The Strip, we’re introducing authentic, Las Vegas locals’-style hospitality to visitors from around the world. It’s what my brother and I always dreamt of doing. Finally making it a reality is an incredible feeling.”

Details on the menu and more information regarding Off The Strip’s opening, including its opening date, will be announced next month.

Caesars Entertainment is redefining the iconic Las Vegas skyline with The LINQ Promenade, an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment district, anchored by the world’s tallest observation wheel, the Las Vegas High Roller. Named as the “Best thing to do on the perfect weekend getaway in Las Vegas” by Condé Nast Traveler, The LINQ Promenade and High Roller features more than 30 unique retail, dining and entertainment venues and plays host to a variety of special events, festivals and more. Located at the heart of the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the 550-foot tall High Roller, recently voted as one the top places to take a selfie by Travel + Leisure, is the focal point of the unique urban entertainment district and has proven to be a top location to spot celebrities. The wheel’s 28 glass-enclosed cabins feature an interactive experience including video and music that fade away to unveil spectacular views of the famed resort city in the 30 minutes it takes to complete one full revolution. Each cabin accommodates up to 40 people. Cabins are available for individual or group experiences. For more information, visit LINQ.com.
