Food and Beverage Starting Lineup Announced for March Basketball Competition

Ladies and gentlemen…the wait is over. MGM Resorts International introduced its official starting lineup today for the March basketball tournament. Restaurants and beverage venues will offer food and drink specials fit for the fans. Expect to see talented dishes earn their spots in the championship as the roster includes ARIA Resort & Casino, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino,Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, The Mirage Hotel & Casino and Monte Carlo Resort & Casino.

Featured players starting for MGM Resorts International are as follows:

Point Guard
First up is FIVE50 Pizza Bar at ARIA. As the team leader, this iconic pizzeria initiates the offense by offering Anheuser-Busch products on draft including Goose Island and Bud Light. Dribble with ease to score a pizza and wing special for $35 and bottomless pitchers for $35 per person.

MGM Grand - TAP

Shooting Guard
TAP at MGM Grand is the best shooter on the team and has drink specials that make scoring baskets look easy. Try a Tennessee High Ball with Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, fresh lemon sour, orange bitters and ginger ale. Cheer on this all-star with the Absolut Cheerleader featuring Absolut, peach schnapps, cranberry and pineapple juice.

Small Forward
Players in this position are known for their versatility on the court, and Sports Book Grill at Mandalay Bay certainly has it all. Whether playing down low or on the outside, this grill offers up a food lineup that will shine in the post. Take on the chicken wings with sweet chili, chili cheese tots with sour cream and green onions or a buffalo chicken sandwich served with blue cheese slaw and french fries.

Power Forward
The basketball missed the basket and the team fights for the rebound. Pantry at The Mirage steps up for the challenge and grabs the ball effortlessly. The barbecue basketball burger served with barbecue spice, bacon, fried eggs and crisp onions keeps the big man fueled and ready to go.

The Pub at Monte Carlo

Center
Rounding out the lineup is The Pub at Monte Carlo. As the tallest player on the team, this casual pub blocks shots while offering an all-you-can-eat buffet during its basketball tournament viewing party. Grab everything from buffalo chicken wings and flatbreads to biscuits & gravy and chili. Drink specials make a notable slam dunk with five for $20 beer buckets featuring Budweiser, Bud Light, Bud Light Lime, Shock Top and Michelob Ultra.
