COLIN KANE LANDS COMEDY RESIDENCY, THE WOLF, INSIDE VINYL AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO LAS VEGAS

THE WOLF MAKES ITS DEBUT JULY 27 AT 8:30 P.M.

Tickets on sale NOW at ticketmaster.com

Master insult comedian, Colin Kane, has landed his first residency inside Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. The new show, The Wolf, is the most biting, gentlemanly, adult comedy experience to debut in Las Vegas and will launch on Friday, July 27. Tickets are on sale now for performances through Sept. 28 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.

Kane is best known for his in-your-face and off-the-cuff delivery. He holds the attention of his audience in the palm of his hand as he delivers an unlikely blend of piercing bite and authentic heart. Kane’s R-rated show, The Wolf, tackles relationships; dating; adult-only, memorable encounters; and anyone who is courageous enough to sit in the front row. An equal opportunity offender, this intimate show is not for the faint-of-heart. A master of “crowd work,” Kane has made insult an art form. The notorious, stand-up comedian can verbally target individuals, yet oddly uplift the assaulted at the same time. With the diversity of his audience, guests are guaranteed to never see the same show twice.

Kane has been described as a comedian’s comedian and has built a reputation of being a gentleman with a messed-up sense of humor. A Los Angeles resident, the born-and-bred New Yorker sells out theaters and comedy clubs across the country and his popularity has proven contagious with a dedicated fan base built on word-of-mouth.

Colin Kane will perform The Wolf July 27, Aug. 31 and Sept. 28 at 8:30 p.m. More dates to be announced soon. Tickets start at $25 (plus applicable taxes and service fees) and are on sale now at the Hard Rock Hotel box office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Guests must be 18 years of age or older with a valid form of identification to attend.

Green Memorial Foundation With Special Show Called “GONE COUNTRY” Featuring Nashville Star Andy Ross, Jon Hall and Troy Burgess of Rock of Ages, Travis Cloer of Jersey Boys, Felice Garcia and Ben Hale of Million Dollar Quartet and others to be announced at Vinyl Inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Monday, September 15th, at 8:30 pm

Las Vegas, NV Aug.4th 2014,  – Mark Shunock is proud to announce that the September edition of “Mondays Dark” will take place on Monday, September 15th, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.  Following the success of last month’s Soul Fundafied night, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the September show will benefit the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation and will feature Country Star Andy Ross, ROA and former Glee cast member Jon Hall, Travis Cloer of Jersey Boys, Ben Hale and Felice Garcia of Million Dollar Quartet, the magic of Jason Andrews, Lori Legacy and others to be announced with the evening titled “GONE COUNTRY”.

“Last month’s SOUL/FUNK night was a huge success and this month’s COUNTRY Themed show shouldn’t be missed,” says Shunock, who plays Lonny in the hit “Rock of Ages” at the Venetian. “The support of the community and the performers here in Las Vegas has truly inspired me to take ‘Mondays Dark’ to a new level each month so that we can continue to raise much needed funds for local charities.”

Every month Shunock gathers an eclectic cast of guests including stars from Hollywood, the Strip, musical acts, athletes and celebrity chefs for 90 minutes of chat, entertainment – and a lot of laughs. “Mondays Dark” partners with a different Las Vegas-based charity to raise money each month for that charity, between ticket sales and silent auction items. Previous charities to benefit from Mondays Dark include Opportunity Village and AFAN (AID FOR AID of NEVADA), Nevada SPCA and the St. Therese Center HIV Outreach, The Shine Family Foundation, and The Miracle League of LV.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $30 at the door, and can be purchased by visiting www.MondaysDark.com and are limited to 300 tickets per event. For more information please call 702-485-1262. Follow us on Twitter @Mondays_Dark.  To donate silent auction items please call 702-485-1262.

Monday, August 18th, at 8:30 pm

Mark Shunock is proud to announce that the August edition of “Mondays Dark” will take place on Monday, August 18th, 2014 at 8:30 p.m. at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.  Following the success of last month’s CLASSIC VEGAS night, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the August show will benefit HIS LOVE STREET and will feature Earl Turner, Clint Holmes, Chadwick Johnson, Skye Dee Miles, Mary Wilson, LV Tenors, Lisa Mack and others to be announced with the evening titled “Soul Funkdafied”.

“Last month’s Classic Vegas night was a huge success and this month’s Soul/Funk Themed show shouldn’t be missed,” says Shunock, who plays Lonny in the hit “Rock of Ages” at the Venetian.

Mark Shunock Announces June Edition of “Mondays Dark” to Benefit
Rudy Foundation with Special Showcase, “Mama Rocks A Million Boys” Featuring The Strip’s Four Resident Broadway Shows at Vinyl inside
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Monday, June 16th at 8:30 p.m.

Mark Shunock is proud to announce that the June showcase of Mondays Dark will take place on Monday, June 16 at 8:30 p.m. at Vinyl inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.  Following the success of last month’s “Boy Band Night,” 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the June showcase will benefit Rudy Foundation, and will feature the music of Tony-nominated musicals in an electrifying evening, “Mama Rocks A Million Boys,” showcasing energetic scene favorites from the four celebrated Las Vegas Broadway musicals:  Mamma Mia!, Rock of Ages, Million Dollar Quartet, and Jersey Boys.

“Last month’s ‘Boy Band Night’ was a blast, and this month’s Broadway-themed show shouldn’t be missed, especially with the Tony Awards coming up very soon,” says Shunock, who plays Lonny in the hit Rock of Ages at The Venetian. “The support of the community and the performers here in Las Vegas has truly inspired me to take ‘Mondays Dark’ to a new level each month so that we can continue to raise much needed funds for local charities.”

Every month, Shunock gathers an eclectic cast of guests including stars from Hollywood, the Strip, musical acts, athletes and celebrity chefs for 90 minutes of chat, entertainment – and a lot of laughs. Mondays Dark partners with a different Las Vegas-based charity to raise money each month for that charity through ticket sales and silent auction items.

This month, “Mondays Dark” will partner with recent Best of Henderson honoree Rudy Foundation, a 501©(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities by bringing people together, providing scholarship opportunities in the areas of education, sports, and the performing arts, and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

“It’s an honor to be selected as the charity of choice for Mondays Dark,” says Cheryl Ruettiger, co-founder and executive director of Rudy Foundation. “Mark and Rudy Foundation have a common goal of empowering the youth of Las Vegas through the performing arts in ways that bring our community together.”

Rudy Foundation was inspired by the story of Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger, a Las Vegas local who grew up in a small town with the dream of playing football at Notre Dame University. Against all obstacles, from low grades and financial hardship to his 5’6” stature, Ruettiger’s spirit and determination persevered, allowing him to be an instrumental force in his team’s win against Georgia Tech. The story of his triumph was told in the 1993 blockbuster film, Rudy, starring Sean Astin.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by visiting www.MondaysDark.com and are limited to 200 tickets per event. For more information please call 702-485-1262. Follow us on Twitter @Mondays_Dark.  To donate silent auction items please call 702-485-1262.

In “Legit,” Jefferies portrays a heightened version of himself as a comedian from Australia who realizes there’s more to life (and his career) than the rock and roll lifestyle of stand-up comedy. Prior to “Legit,” Jefferies appeared on numerous TV shows in England including Channel 4’s “The History of Offensive Humor,” BBC1’s “Heaven and Earth,” and ITV2’s “Comedy Cults.” U.S. audiences got their first taste of Jefferies when he appeared on HBO’s “Down and Dirty with Jim Norton,” which in turn lead to his critically acclaimed and international hit, one-hour HBO special, “I Swear to God.” He followed that up with a Showtime special titled “Alchoholocaust” and “Fully Functional” on the EPIX network.

New Ticketing Platform, AXS Ticketing, Featuring Never-Before Available, Fan-Friendly Technology Launches at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

NEW TICKETING PLATFORM, AXS TICKETING,
FEATURING NEVER-BEFORE AVAILABLE,
FAN-FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHES
AT THE JOINT AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO

Beginning today, The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino welcomes a new era of fan-friendly ticketing with the transitioning of the venue’s ticketing services to AXS Ticketing (pronounced access).

Tickets to all concerts at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will now be available at the Hard Rock Hotel Box Office, online at AXS.com or by calling 1-888-9-AXS-TIX.

Since launching in August 2011, AEG has already introduced the new platform at 47 venues, including STAPLES Center in Los Angeles and London’s The O2 arena, the world’s top-selling concert venue since 2007.

“We are very pleased to be partnering with one of the most innovative ticketing platforms in the market,” said Chas Smith, Vice President of Entertainment at Hard Rock Hotel. “We’re looking forward to sharing this technology with our customers.”

“From the beginning, our goal with AXS has been to challenge the inconvenient experience and conventional thinking that has dominated ticketing for decades,” said Bryan Perez, AEG’s president of digital, ticketing and media. “By continually focusing first on fans’ needs with products like AXS Invite and our virtual Waiting Room, we are changing the way tickets are sold all over the world, and we are excited to bring this new approach to The Joint, one of the top venues in the concert industry.”

Ground-breaking features of AXS Ticketing at launch include:

A social ticketing breakthrough, AXS Invite™, is a revolutionary new feature that will allow fans to reserve adjacent tickets for friends so they can all sit together. Once the seats are reserved, through a one-step invitation process, the initial purchaser can then invite his or her friends to buy the nearby seats via Facebook or email, eliminating the need for one purchaser to fund the entire transaction and helping fans more easily attend in groups.

A virtual AXS Waiting Room™  opens shortly before the public on-sale, giving fans greater transparency into the buying process by displaying real-time ticket pricing and availability information, as well as shortening transaction times by allowing fans to enter their payment details prior to general tickets going on sale. The Waiting Room™ also will allow venues to see the demand for tickets at any given time before and during the on-sale.
