Prost! BEER PARK at Paris Las Vegas will host an Oktoberfest celebration, complete with German beer, food, entertainment and more, starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5.

 

BEER PARK will offer Bavarian-style sausages, including a Shock Top Cheddar Bratwurst, a sausage topped with Shock Top caramelized onions, sauerkraut and spicy-grain mustard, priced at $10.95; and specialty 12-inch pretzels, served with Bass IPA cheese fondue and house-made Goose Island mustard, priced at $8.95.

An Oktoberfest beer flight will be available, with three-ounce pours of Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse, Hoegaarden Witbier, Spaten Münchner Hell and Stella Artois, priced at $14. In addition, an Oktoberfest beer bucket will include two bottles of Beck’s Pilsner, two bottles of Spaten Oktoberfest Ur-Märzen and two bottles of Spaten Optimator, priced at $45.

 

Admission to the party is complimentary, and guests are encouraged to dress in their German best.

Henderson’s only Oktoberfest event returns to Galleria at Sunset for its second year on Saturday, September 29 from 1 to 7 p.m. Staying true to German tradition, the event boasts more than 15 German and local beers, polka dancing, live Bavarian music, contests and popular German fare. In addition to performances by The Ginger Snaps and The Munich Boys, Oktoberfest will welcome KOMP 92.3 to emcee activities inspired by Bavarian tradition, including:

  • Guests are encouraged to wear their best Lederhosen and enter the Costume Contest. The winners will be chosen based on the most authentic and elaborate costumes.
  • The Beer Stein Race challenges participants to race with steins full of beer and participants with the least amount of beer spilled is the winner.
  • The Beer Tasting Contest is perfect for German beer aficionados. Participants will be tested on their beer knowledge as they taste and try to identify six different German beers.
  • The Stein Hoisting Competition is a traditional Bavarian strength contest in which competitors hold a full one-liter beer stein in front of their bodies with a straight arm, parallel to the ground. The last person hoisting is the winner.

For each contest, the winning male and female will take home the grand prize. All contest winners will receive an authentic one-liter beer stein full of goodies and gift cards. Oktoberfest will be held outside on the Galleria’s plaza and admission is $20 per person. Admission includes a beer stein along with the first three beers free and entrance into all contests.

Additional food and beer will be available for purchase. Attendees must be 21 to receive a beer stein and participate in certain contests. Families are welcome to attend and kids are free to enter, but must be accompanied by a parent at all times.

Galleria at Sunset confirmed today that the previously announced Oktoberfest event will still take place on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. In light of Sunday’s tragedy, half of all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Las Vegas Victim’s Fund.“Instead of cancelling Galleria’s Oktoberfest, we have decided to use it as a way to raise additional funds and support for those impacted by this weekend’s tragedy,” said Kevin Budny, general manager of Galleria at Sunset.Staying true to German tradition, the event boasts more than 15 German and local beers, polka dancing, live Bavarian music, contests, and popular German fare. Thank Galleria It’s Friday, October 13
Galleria is celebrating its 21st birthday with the final installment of the mix and mingle happy hour event “Thank Galleria It’s Friday,” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 13. Admission to the event includes sampling of featured spirits with live entertainment, delicious tastes from Galleria restaurants at happy hour pricing, and a drink ticket from participating restaurants. Hot 97.5 Monster Bash, October 31
Galleria is teaming up with Hot 97.5 for a family-friendly Halloween event. From 6 to 8 p.m. on October 31, guests are encouraged to come dressed in their best costumes and enjoy free trick-or-treating throughout the mall. Guests will also have a chance to participate in free costume and best carved-pumpkin contests in the Center Court.

New Happy Hour and Seasonal Menus at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana
BRAVO! Cucina Italiana has released new happy hour and seasonal chef-inspired fall menus. During Happy Hour, weekdays from 3:30-6:30 p.m. in the bar, guests can enjoy new Bar Bites, including Stuffed Banana Peppers, Pepperoni Cheese Dip, Roasted Tomato and Ricotta Flatbread and Fingerling Potato Skins. Two new cocktails are also available and include the Midnight Mojito and the Island Basil Smash. Football season is back and at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Downtown Summerlin is in on the action. During all games aired on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays, all pizzas (with the exception of the Smoked Salmon pizza) will be half price. Las Vegas Beer Garden Hosts Iconic Festival with an Exclusive Local Brew, Authentic Cuisine and Classic Games 

 

Las Vegas will welcome the timeless Bavarian fall tradition as Beerhaus, The Strip’s newest modern beer garden, transforms into Oktoberfest at The Park September 30 – October 2. Situated within MGM Resorts’ new outdoor entertainment district steps away from T-Mobile Arena, travelers and locals will revel in dancing, eating and partying in a manner solely suited for the world’s greatest beer festival.

“We are going to have a fun-filled Oktoberfest complete with an assortment of craft beers, festive games and lively entertainment,” said Beerhaus General Manager Tony Fisher. “Our unique space within the beautiful landscape of The Park allows us to throw an authentic outdoor Oktoberfest celebration and we can’t wait to debut all of the great activations we have in store for our guests.”

Beginning at 4 p.m. each day, Oktoberfest at The Park will kick off the nightly festivities with a celebrity keg tapping, followed by live music from local band The Dummkopfs. Guests can select commemorative half- or full-liter steins as their vessel of sudsy exploration of renowned craft beers from around the world – including a limited-edition Oktoberfest brew. Prices for each stein, which may be purchased at Beerhaus, are:

  • One liter: $15 empty/$25 filled; refills are $14.
  • Half-liter: $10 empty/$15 filled; refills are $7.

With more details to come in the weeks leading up to Oktoberfest at The Park, some of the fun activities revelers will enjoy include:

  • Zwei. Drei! – Games and contests throughout the evening including sledgehammer strongman competitions, stein-holding marathons and much more.
  • Guten Appetite – Homemade bratwursts, German potato salad and fried apple with caramel dip are among the Oktoberfest treats that will be served during the festival.

Fremont Street Experience will once again transform itself for the Sixth Annual OktoberFrightFest, combining Oktoberfest and Halloween for the ultimate street party, taking place October 5 – November 1. The spooktacular festivities will include free performances from the popular stage production show “Frank & The Steins,” “Vampire Rising” and “Halloween Hotties.” Viva Vision light and sound shows will also be themed to “Time Warp” and “Monster Mash.”

Frank & The Steins:
“Frank & The Steins” is a live musical revue of classic Halloween songs.  The cast is comprised of hot ghouls and guys; singers, dancers and live musicians performing songs including “Psycho Killers,” “Spooky,” “Time Warp,” and “Ghostbusters” that will make audiences dance, laugh, sing and scream.  “Frank & The Steins” is produced by Face Productions and choreographed by Melden Steele.  Frank & The Steins will perform on the 1st Street Stage Oct. 5 – Nov. 1 from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. (dark on Oct. 9, 16 and 23).


Vampire Rising:
“Vampire Rising” will perform three themed sets that highlight a vast repertoire.  The Gothic Set includes a set list on the heavy side of rock and will include songs from Rob Zombie’s “Dragula,” Alice in Chains’ “Man in the Box,” and Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid.”  The Pop Horror set is hosted by the “Addams Family” and will feature some of the lighter side of the macabre with hits like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and Oingo Boingo’s “Dead Man’s Party.” The third set, titled Rock From the Dead, will have the band costumed like some of our dearly departed rock stars and will regale the crowd with renditions that include Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London,” Guns & Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” and Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper.” Vampire Rising will perform on the 3rd Street Stage Oct. 7 – Oct. 30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 p.m. – Midnight and Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. (dark on Oct. 18)


Halloween Hotties
The sexy, crowd pleasing, “Halloween Hotties” are back, this time featuring American Idol Season 6 Finalist Haley Scarnato. “Halloween Hotties” is a custom stage production show created exclusively for Fremont Street Experience by Face Productions. Halloween Hotties will perform on the Main Street Stage Oct. 6 – Oct. 31 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. and Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Fifth Annual Fall Beer Festival (Golden Nugget):
Fremont Street Experience member property Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino will host its Fifth Annual Fall Beer Festival during a two-day event on Oct. 10 & 11. This two-day festival brings together consumers, craft beer vendors, live music, great food and hundreds of beers in two very different events.  The first event kicks off Friday, Oct. 10 from 7-10 p.m. in The Grand Events Center.  Guests will sample over 125 craft beer selections from award-winning breweries and enjoy chef-inspired appetizers, live entertainment and mingle with award-winning brew masters. Tickets to this event can be purchased individually for $50 plus taxes at the Golden Nugget Box Office. The fun continues on Saturday, Oct. 11 with an exciting Oktoberfest Pool Party from 1-7 p.m. at The Tank Pool, Golden Nugget’s award-winning pool and shark aquarium. Admission is free and beer enthusiasts can enjoy 150 different international and domestic beers available for purchase as well as bratwursts, pretzels and more great food while enjoying live music throughout the party
