FANTASY kicked off Rí Rá Las Vegas’ St. Baldrick’s fundraiser by shaving the first heads

Rí Rá Las Vegas kicked off its St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser with celebrity shavers from FANTASY. At noon, three of the dancers from FANTASY at the Luxor Hotel and Casino served as guest hairdressers and shave the first heads at Rí Rá to raise money and support the fight against childhood cancer.

As celebrity shavers, the stars of FANTASY at the Luxor Hotel and Casino helped the first round of shavees go bald. The head-shaving event supports St. Baldrick’s, which funds the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Local hairdressers  volunteered their time to assist the ladies of FANTASY and give additional haircuts throughout the day.

About: Crafted in the warm pub style of 19th century Ireland, Rí Rá Las Vegas is located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.  The authentic Irish pub features a multitude of artifacts that were carefully restored in Wicklow, Ireland and shipped to their new home in Las Vegas.  Rí Rá Las Vegas contains an authentic Victorian Shop bar that began its life in Ireland in the 1880s, a whiskey bar adorned with an original glazed jewelry cabinet from 1900, an oak floor from a whiskey distillery and an 8-foot-tall, 500-pound carved plaster statue of St. Patrick dating back to 1850.  The pub hosts live entertainment seven nights a week in a music room constructed with artifacts dating back to 1890 from the Olympia Theater in Dublin, Ireland. Born and raised in Dublin, Rí Rá Las Vegas owners David Kelly and Ciaran Sheehan have been close friends since they were 14-years-old. Kelly and Sheehan later partnered with Jay Luther, whom Kelly met while working for Guinness. Rí Rá Las Vegas is the 12th pub the trio has opened in the U.S.

Noon – The ladies of FANTASY shave the first heads at Rí Rá

WHERE:

3930 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Las Vegas, NV 89119

DETAILS: As celebrity shavers, the stars of FANTASY at the Luxor Hotel and Casino will help the first round of shavees go bald. The head-shaving event supports St. Baldrick’s, which funds the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives. Local hairdressers will volunteer their time to assist the ladies of FANTASY and give additional haircuts throughout the day. Those wishing to keep their hair can donate funds online and at the pub. During the event, guests will enjoy live music and other festivities.
