RECAP: Hakkasan Group Hosts Benefit Concert With Headlining Artists Céline Dion, Tiësto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, and Many More- Tuesday, Nov. 7

 

Last night (Tuesday, Nov. 7) Hakkasan Group hosted an incredible Benefit Concert at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace. In response to the tragic events that took place on October 1 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, the Las Vegas-based hospitality company brought locals, partygoers, and artists together for an eventful evening to raise funds for those affected.

The nightspot opened its doors at 9:30 p.m. and welcomed some of the industry’s top turntable artists including Tiësto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Party Favor, Cash Cash, Nghtmre, and more in the main room, while renowned SKAM Artists Lil Jon, FAED, Turbulence, Crooked, NEVA and OB One took over Heart of OMNIA as Bojo from Vegas’ Q 100.5, kept the energy going throughout the night. Adding to the excitement, UFC’s official Octagon announcer Bruce Buffer participated throughout the night as he helped hype up the packed room and welcomed artists to the stage.

As the night went on, the nightspot was treated to an unbelievable surprise as legendary singer, and Vegas icon, Céline Dion joined DJ Steve Aoki on stage. The energy in the room reached an all-time high as she performed a special rendition of her classic song “My Heart Will Go On” alongside the popular DJ. The highly-acclaimed vocalist had the entire room in awe and singing along as she provided guests with an unforgettable and intimate performance experience. Following the incredible rendition, Aoki joined Dion atop of the DJ booth as they both showed off some of their best dance moves, while the packed nightspot collectively basked in the amazing moment.

The Benefit Concert went on into the early hours of the morning as the artists played back-to-back sets, making for a tremendously remarkable affair. With the goal of bringing the community together, and to further cement Vegas as the entertainment capital of the world, Hakkasan Group is pleased to announce that together we raised over $1,000,000 through donations, ticket sales, and all revenue earned throughout the night, all of which is being donated to the Las Vegas Victims Fund, via the Direct Impact Fund.

In addition to the event, Hakkasan Group hosted a private dinner at Searsucker inside Caesars Palace for a number of the city’s first responders. In honor of all their hard work and dedication to the community, the evening acted as a thank you and allowed them to enjoy a night out in true Vegas fashion.

  • The world’s largest exhibition of uniquely preserved sea creatures takes center stage with Sea Monsters Revealed at Shark Reef Aquarium.
  • Through the use of a revolutionary polymer preservation technique, commonly known as plastination, guests get to see the outside and inside of some of the sea’s most magnificent inhabitants.
  • The exhibition features an 18-foot, 3,000-pound whale shark along with a 15-foot-long mako shark and giant sunfish among its more than 18 full-body sea creatures.

ONE NIGHT FOR ONE DROP
One Night for ONE DROP is an original, one-night-only production scheduled for Friday, March 20 at The Beatles LOVE Theatre inside The Mirage. The event will feature artists from each of the eight Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil productions.

The third Annual One Night for ONE DROP, held around World Water Day, is being created and directed by Mukhtar O.S. Mukhtar for the second consecutive year. The evening will feature Cirque du Soleil artists when they bring together the message of “ONE THOUGHT, ONE WORLD,” as a metaphor of time and its effect on society, encouraging us to create the world in which we want to live.

ONE DROP, a non-profit organization created by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté, works to secure water access by implementing integrated and unique water projects around the world and to reverse the growing water crisis by raising awareness for water-related issues. Since its inception in 2007, ONE DROP has worked to provide access to clean, safe water for more than 300,000 people.

Kings of Leon's Mechanical Bull Tour at the MGM Resorts Village

This fall the MGM Resorts Village became the most versatile new entertainment space on The Strip. In only five weeks, this unique outdoor venue was home to 5 special and diverse events appealing to fans from around the world: iHeartRadio Music Festival Village, Blvd Brew Fest, the three-day Route 91 Harvest Festival, the two-day Rock ‘n Roll Wine Amplified Festival and SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road presented by Traxxas.

Music acts – ranging from Iggy Azalea to Blake Shelton and Blink-182 to Kings of Leon found their way to the Village and performed in front of energized crowds. Interactive experiences were created for each event and ranged from a foam pit at Route 91 Harvest Festival to caricature stations at iHeartRadio Music Festival Village. A water slide and sand pit area were a nice way for guests to cool off.

After the music died down, the dust didn’t have a chance to settle as the venue was transformed into a race track. Versatile off-road trucks, made to race on virtually any surface, flew through the air nearly 20 feet off the ground landing on man-made ramps throughout the Village.

September 27: Boulevard Brew Fest
GRAMMY Award-winning band Kings of Leon will headline the Boulevard Brew Fest with its Mechanical Bull Tour at the MGM Resorts Village. Young The Giant, Kongos and more will join Kings of Leon for the event presented by MGM Resorts International and Oregon Brewers Festival.  While enjoying live performances, Boulevard Brew Fest attendees will have the opportunity to “tap” in to a seven-hour beer-topia featuring more than 60 unique Oregon beers from more than 50 breweries, along with local selections handcrafted by multiple Las Vegas-based craft breweries. October 3 – 5: Route 91 Harvest Festival
Route 91 Harvest is a three-day country music festival that pays homage to the iconic Las Vegas Boulevard, originally known as Route 91. The festival will boast a gathering of A-list country performers including headliners Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, along with Dierks Bentley and Brantley Gilbert, among others. October 10 – 11: Rock ‘n Roll Wine Amplified Weekend 
For the ninth consecutive year, MGM Resorts International will partner with Rock ‘n Roll Wine to host the “Wine Amplified Festival.” Based on the event’s increased popularity, the two-day festival will be held for the first time at the MGM Resorts Village and will feature headliners Train and Blink 182 in addition to performances by Violent Femmes, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Magic!, Better than Ezra, The Mowgli’s, of Verona and Mystic Roots, just to name a few.

This year’s wine tasting and music festival will be a high-energy, interactive experience revolutionizing the way wine is presented, perceived and enjoyed. The venue will be transformed into a slice of wine country featuring more than 60 wineries, 150 wines and 20 craft beers.
