Brantley Gilbert to Perform at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, March 28

BRANTLEY GILBERT TURNS UP THE HEAT IN 2020 WITH NEW FIRE’T UP TOUR

The Georgia Native makes a stop at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, March 28.

Brantley Gilbert’s 2020 Fire’t Up Tour with Chase Rice, Dylan Scott and Brandon Lay

Award winning country music singer and songwriter, Brantley Gilbert will take the stage at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday, March 28, 2020, as a stop on his upcoming FIRE’T UP 2020 TOUR.

Just a few short weeks before the much-anticipated Oct. 4 release of his fifth studio album Fire & Brimstone via The Valory Music Co., Gilbert, billed as an artist who “never fails to deliver” by American Songwriter, is already looking for opportunities to bring the music to his faithful BG Nation with a brand new 2020 tour. FIRE’T UP 2020 TOUR, aptly named after track one on his upcoming 15-song album (all written/co-written by Gilbert), will kick off Jan. 23 in London, Ontario and hit 34 cities across the country and Canada, before concluding May 8 in Colorado.  “Fire’t Up” from forthcoming Fire & Brimstone available HERE.

Gilbert – who identifies as a songwriter first – has invited fellow singer/songwriters to join as tour special guests: Chase Rice who The New York Times praises for his “prime power country” style, known for hits “Eyes On You” and “Lonely If You Are”; Louisiana-native, country singer/songwriter Dylan Scott, whose hits include “My Girl” and “Hooked,” and current single, “Nothing To Do Town”; and a man Rolling Stone calls “a country-rock version of Bruce Springsteen” after last year’s opening slot on Kenny Chesney’s Trip Around The Sun Tour, EMI recording artist Brandon Lay. Scott and Lay will take the stage with Gilbert at the March 28 show in Las Vegas.

“I truly feel like we’re at the point that we can let the music take us where it is meant to go, so with every new album we like to change up our show and make it something that plays to those stories and characters,” shares Gilbert. “We’ll of course still do the hits our fans love, but we are looking at this as an opportunity to turn up the heat a bit and give the songs on Fire & Brimstone a chance to really rock.”

Gilbert’s fifth studio album set for release on Oct. 4 features a series of powerhouse collaborations with some of country music’s finest artists such as Lindsay Ell, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson and Colt Ford.

Shortly after the album’s October release, Gilbert will set sail for his Second Annual Kick It in the Ship cruise. He will be joined by Rice, LANCO, Diamond Rio, Tyler Farr, Danielle Bradbery, Jon Langston, Colt Ford, Tyler Rich, SixForty1, Trea Landon, Sam Grow, Tyler Braden, Brian Davis, Tyler Booth and more as they rock the high-seas from Miami to Cozumel this November.

About Brantley Gilbert

With back-to-back platinum albums and a grassroots following millions strong, Brantley Gilbert has clearly struck a nerve. The Georgia native who started as the defiant life-of-the-party can still go ‘til sunrise, but he’s also emerged as something far greater: the leader of a massive tribe of hard-working, fun-loving believers for whom electric guitar-shredding, rapping, and twang can go hand-in-hand-in-hand. They call themselves the BG Nation, and when the BG Nation watches Gilbert on a stage, they don’t just see a star. They see themselves. Six No. 1 hits punctuate his career: “Country Must be Country Wide,” “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do,” CMA Awards Song of the Year nominee “Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party,” “Bottoms Up,” and “One Hell of an Amen.” Gilbert’s landmark record Just As I Am clinched the 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Country Album. Earning praise from the New York Times, NPR, American Songwriter, and more, Gilbert has mined a rich vein of conflict between the party and the pew on all of his albums. Instead of toiling in limbo, unable to enjoy good times for fear of Judgment Day, Gilbert fully lives––rowdy friend, man of faith, devoted husband, smitten new father––just as he is. Highly anticipated Fire & Brimstone, out October 4 via The Valory Music Co., is Gilbert’s most mature and complex exploration of his world to date. Officially, Justin Moore “Kinda Don’t Care”

OFFICIALLY, JUSTIN MOORE “KINDA DON’T CARE”

New Single Most Added on Country Radio Today

Cover Art Courtesy of The Valory Music Co.

Rooted in his rural upbringing, Justin Moore’s “Kinda Don’t Care” proves he is nothing but 100% genuine. His new single emulates the mentality loyal fans have come to expect from him, as his Southern drawl impacts Country radio today. The title track from Moore’s fourth studio album follows back-to-back No. 1’s with “You Look Like I Need a Drink” and “Somebody Else Will” and was most-added right out of the gate making it the third single from the project to hit that mark.

Tunesmiths Rhett Akins, Ross Copperman and Ben Hayslip penned “Kinda Don’t Care” precisely reflecting Moore’s no-frills sensibilities. The air of laissez faire lyrics are on display with: “I kinda wanna light up a couple smokes / Kinda want some Crown mixed in my Coke / Kinda wanna hole up in some corner booth somewhere / I kinda wanna find a pretty little thing / That’s kinda like me, don’t want no strings / Knowin’ in the mornin’ that it ain’t goin’ nowhere / But tonight / I kinda don’t care.”

Earning the Arkansas native his third consecutive No. 1 album debut upon release last year, Sounds Like Nashville raved “…Kinda Don’t Care is Moore’s most diverse record yet.” The ACM Award-winning performer continues to evolve in his sound while keeping true to his traditional Country phrasing. Uproxx noted of the progression, “…look toward the album’s rebellious title track to get a real read on what makes Moore care — or not. That’s the guitar-drenched backwoods apathy I’d play on the radio, given a shot at those dials.”

An established road warrior, Moore kicks off his HELL ON A HIGHWAY TOUR next month. His fourth headline trek traverses the US through April 2018. For more dates and information, visit JustinMooreMusic.com.

ABOUT DYLAN SCOTT:
A Louisiana native with a lifelong passion for Country music, Dylan Scott is the total package – a powerful singer with a deep, resonating drawl; an old-soul songwriter with a young spirit; a heartthrob with an easy smile; and a dreamer who followed his father’s footsteps to Nashville. Prior to landing his record deal, Scott learned the basics of singing and playing guitar from his dad – a former guitar player for Country legends Freddy Fender and Freddie Hart. He then launched onto the Country music scene in 2013 with “Making This Boy Go Crazy,” the debut single from his self-titled EP. His follow up, the infectious “Crazy Over Me,” debuted at #14 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart and hit the Top 40 on the Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. In the summer of 2016, his debut album for Curb Records, DYLAN SCOTT, landed in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart, and its romantic standout single, “My Girl,” has now been RIAA-certified GOLD, while also becoming his FIRST CAREER #1 at Country radio. Continuing the momentum, Scott released DYLAN SCOTT (DELUXE EDITION) on August 4. The expanded version of his 2016 self-titled album debut features three powerful new tracks including the addictive rush of his new single “Hooked,” the real-life fairy tale of “Sleeping Beauty” (which Scott co-wrote with Lee Brice) and the head-turning heat of “Can’t Take Her Anywhere.” Having been named one of Spotify’s Spotlight on 2016 Country Artists, fans have streamed Scott’s songs over 200 million times and counting, and sales have topped 2.2 million stream equivalent songs – figures that continue to grow by leaps and bounds. He is currently touring the country after wrapping his opening slot on Brice’s 2016 LIFE OFF MY YEARS TOUR.

Last Summer On Earth 2015 Tour: Barenaked Ladies with special guests Violent Femmes and Colin Hay
Saturday, July 18
8 p.m.; Doors at 7 p.m.
Tickets: $50 GA

Since the band’s start in the late 1980s, Barenaked Ladies has sold over 14 million albums worldwide. The Canadian band found success when vocalists Ed Robertson and Steve Page started incorporating comedy into their early performances to hold the audience’s attention between sets. The combination of the duo’s humor and eclectic folk pop rock sound sealed the group’s fate as its popularity continued to grow into the early 1990s. The group grew into a true band with the addition of Jim Creegan (bass/vocals), Tyler Stewart (drums/vocals) and Andy Creegan (keyboards) and went on to release Yellow Tape, Canada’s first independently-released tape to reach platinum status. Shortly after, Barenaked Ladies signed with Sire/Reprise Records in 1992 and released its debut studio album Gordon featuring hits such as “Be My Yoko Ono,” “Brian Wilson” and “If I Had a $1,000,000.” Before the release of the band’s third album, Kevin Hearn (keyboard/guitar/vocals) replaced Andy Creegan, who left the group to finish college abroad. Over the next decade, the group released six more albums, toured around the globe and started its own label, Desperation Records. In 2009, Page announced his departure from the band. The now quartet decided to form a new label, Raisin’ Records, and released All in Good Time, the band’s first album since Page’s departure. In 2013, Barenaked Ladies released its 11th studio album Grinning Streak featuring the hit single, “Boomerang.”

Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley
The youngest son of Jamaican reggae singer Bob Marley, Damien Marley formed his first band, The Shepherds, when he was 13 years old. In 1994, Marley recorded his first solo album, Mr. Marley, with the help of his father’s label, Tuff Gong. Marley released his second album Halfway Tree with the help of his producer and brother Stephen “Ragga” Marley. The album became a sensation and won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Morgan Heritage
In 1994, the children of legendary reggae singer Denroy Morgan came together to form the band Morgan Heritage. After a performance at the Reggae Sunsplash Festival, the group signed with MCA Records and released its first album, Miracle. The album was considered a major flop and caused the group to rediscover its musical roots. After the release of its second album, Protect Us Jah, the group shrunk to five members including vocalists Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Peter Morgan and Una Morgan; percussionist Memmalatel “Mojo” Morgan; and rhythm guitarist Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan. Over the last two decades, the band has produced a number of hit singles including “Protect Us Jah,” “Let’s Make Up,” “Set Yourself Free,” “Mama and Papa” and “Tell Me How Come.” In April 2015, Morgan Heritage released Strictly Roots, featuring appearances by J. Father John Misty with special guest Mikal Cronin
Thursday, Oct. 15
9 p.m.; Doors at 8 p.m.
Tickets: $23 GA

Before adopting the pseudonym Father John Misty, singer and songwriter J. Tillman first made a name for himself playing drums in a pair of indie rock bands, Saxon Shore and Stately, while attending college in New York City. At that time, he began writing material of his own, citing the music of Nick Drake and Pete Seeger, and the writings of Flannery O’Connor, as key influences. During tours with Damien Jurado, Tilman produced a few CD-R albums and created a ready audience for his home-burned discs. In 2006, the independent Fargo Records label released Tillman’s first properly distributed solo album, Minor Works, and Keep Records reissued I Will Return/Long May You Run as a two-disc set the same year. In 2007, Yer Bird Records released Tillman’s fourth, more elaborately arranged album, Cancer and Delirium. Although his solo work continued to garner critical acclaim, he briefly shifted focus in 2008 by joining Fleet Foxes. The group toured heavily in support of its debut album, yet, Tillman continued working on his own material, releasing Year in the Kingdom in 2009. In 2011, Tillman left Fleet Foxes to concentrate on his many solo projects, using his pseudonym Father John Misty for 2012’s Fear Fun. In 2015, Tillman issued a second studio album under the moniker, the caustically funny and surprisingly sweet I Love You, Honeybear.

Brian Wilson with special guest Rodriguez
Friday, July 10
8 p.m.; Doors at 7 p.m.
Tickets: $50 GA; Reserved prices starting at $70

Considered one of the greatest composers of the rock era, Brian Wilson got an early start when he formed The Beach Boys in 1961 with his two younger brothers Dennis and Carl, cousin Mike Love and childhood friend Alan Jardine. Heavily influenced by the harmonic blend of Four Freshman and the rock rhythms of Chuck Berry, Wilson went on to write a number of the group’s top hits including “Surfer Girl,” “In My Room,” “I Get Around,” “Don’t Worry Baby,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Help Me Rhonda” and “California Girls.” After 1967, Wilson relinquished much of his control of the group to his brother Carl in order to focus on other projects. In 1988, Wilson released his first solo album featuring the hit single “Love And Mercy,” a song that often serves as a closing performance for his concerts. Following the release, Wilson continued to write and record music as a solo act as well as a member of The Beach Boys. By 2012, Wilson had officially reunited with the group in time to release That’s Why God Made The Radio, the group’s first album with Wilson in over 15 years. In 2014, Wilson began to tour and record as a solo artist again, with songs he had originally written for The Beach Boys. His latest solo album No Pier Pressure is set to release in April 2015 and features a number of guest stars from a variety of genres.

Known only by his surname, legendary singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist Rodriguez began performing in bars and clubs around Detroit in the 1960s as the city suffered post-industrial urban decay. It was there that he recorded two studio albums, Cold Fact in 1969 and Coming from Reality in 1971. In the mid-1970s, his music gained airplay in Australia and New Zealand where he became an overseas performer. Rodriguez was unaware that he had reached legendary folk-rock super stardom status in South Africa, where mistaken rumors circulated that he had perished. In fact, South African anti-Apartheid activists and musicians alike were profoundly inspired by his counterculture lyrics. In the late 1990s, South African fans finally sought him out, leading to the unanticipated renaissance of his music career. His story is told in the 2012 Oscar award-winning documentary, “Searching for Sugar Man,” which has given Rodriguez a new measure of fame in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Father John Misty

Father John Misty

Island Records Artist, Nick Jonas announces himself as a brand-new musician on newly released self-titled solo debut. Who Jonas is now is a 22 year old multi-talented artist stepping out on his own and re-inventing himself after achieving worldwide fame with The Jonas Brothers. The Grammy-nominated group sold 20 million albums and toured the globe several times over before calling it quits in October 2013. Its youngest member has lived a lot of life in those years and his experiences are reflected on his self-titled album which was released nationwide on November 11 via Island Records. The album’s smash single and radio hit, “Jealous,” penned by Jonas and co-written by with Nolan Lambroza and Simon Wilcox, peaked at #8 on Billboard Hot 100 and is now certified platinum. Jonas attributes the album’s darker overtones partially to the fact that while he was recording, he was also shooting the gritty television show Kingdom — a mixed martial arts family drama that premieres on DirecTV’s Audience Network on October 8. Jonas plays an MMA prize fighter who holds his cards close to his chest. This year, Jonas embarked on a Club Tour in support of his album, and visited 12 cities across the United States and Canada including Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and New York and will be joining Iggy Azalea on her upcoming Great Escape Tour in Spring 2015.

TAYLOR SWIFT TO RECEIVE FIRST EVER
DICK CLARK AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
AT THE 2014 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS®

New Award Will be the AMA’s Highest Honor

Swift Will Open the Show with the World Television Premiere of “Blank Space”

The Show Will Broadcast Live SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd
(8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC

dick clark productions and ABC announced today that Taylor Swift will be presented with the inaugural “Dick Clark Award for Excellence” at the 2014 American Music Awards.  Swift will be recognized for her historical album sales as the only artist in history to have three albums – “Speak Now, “Red” and “1989” — each debuting with more than 1 million sold in their first week. This year, in its first week, “1989” sold 1.287 million copies, making it the highest selling album released in 2014. Swift is the first recipient of the Dick Clark Award for Excellence, given to an artist who achieves a groundbreaking feat or creates a landmark work.  It is to be bestowed upon someone whose spirit and excellence capture the visionary passion that Dick Clark himself incorporated into everything he did.

Clark, the creator of the 42-year-old American Music Awards, influenced popular music in America for six decades. He was known for maintaining a standard of excellence both in the shows he produced and in the talent that he showcased. Simultaneously “America’s Oldest Teenager” and the most trusted name in music, Clark was responsible for the first TV appearances of many superstars including Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince. Taylor Swift, who also made her debut on a Dick Clark Production show, will be honored with this prestigious award with Clark’s wife, Kari, in the audience, along with a theatre full of stars who grew up on Clark’s programs. This promises to be one of the most significant moments in the rich history of the AMA’s.

“The first time Dick saw Taylor perform, he knew she was something special,” said Kari Clark, wife of the late Dick Clark.  “He would be thrilled to know she is the first artist to receive the Dick Clark Award for Excellence.”

“The American Music Awards most closely reflects Dick Clark’s philosophy of popular music. It provides a platform for the biggest music artists of the day, with the winners voted on by the fans,” said American Music Awards producer Larry Klein.  “Clark always said, ‘Music is the soundtrack of our lives,’ and no one’s recent music has provided a more meaningful soundtrack for the lives of music fans than Taylor Swift.”

Swift will also take to the stage to open the show with the world television premiere performance of her new single “Blank Space”.  She joins a line-up of must-see artists including 5 Seconds of Summer, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Charli XCX, Fergie, Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Imagine Dragons, Jessie J, Lil Wayne, Lorde, Magic!, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Sam Smith, and the evening’s host, Pitbull.  Additional stars slated to present throughout the evening include Uzo Aduba, Jhene Aiko, Elizabeth Banks, Aloe Blacc, Lauren Cohan, Gavin DeGraw, Ansel Elgort, Jamie Foxx, Becky G, Brantley Gilbert, Danai Gurira, Lucy Hale, Ella Henderson, Julianne Hough, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kira Kazantsev, Heidi Klum, Mary Lambert, Rose McGowan, Danica McKellar, Pat Monahan, Olivia Munn, Kevin O’Leary, Pentatonix, Tracee Ellis Ross, Taylor Schilling and Meghan Trainor. The 2014 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC.  Additional performers and presenters will be announced soon.

Taylor Swift is the only artist in history to have three million-selling weeks (2010’s Speak Now, 2012’s RED and 2014’s 1989) and the only artist to have two singles hit No. 1 on Billboards HOT 100 Chart this year. Taylor is a global superstar and seven-time GRAMMY winner, and the youngest winner in history of the music industry’s highest honor, the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. She is the first artist since the Beatles (and the only female artist in history) to log six or more weeks at #1 in the U.S. with three consecutive studio albums. Taylor has an album on Rolling Stone’s prestigious The 50 Greatest Albums of All Time (by women) list, Time magazine has named her one the of the 100 Most Influential People in the world, and she is Billboard’s youngest-ever Woman of the Year and the only artist to have been awarded this honor twice. Taylor has career record sales in excess of 30 million albums and more than 80 million song downloads worldwide, and has had singles top both the pop and country radio charts around the globe. Taylor’s album RED, released two years ago, sold more than 1.2 million copies in the U.S. in its first week. The only other album to sell more than RED was her critically acclaimed fifth studio album, 1989, the highest selling release since 2002 and the only album to go platinum in 2014. 1989 sold almost 1.3 million albums release week topping Billboard’s Top 200 charts and iTunes’ sales charts in 95 countries on its release. 1989 has sold almost three million copies globally and tops Billboard Top 200 for a third week.  “Shake It Off,” the first single from 1989, topped Billboard’s Pop, HotAC and Hot 100 charts and has earned double Platinum-status by the RIAA for exceeding sales of two million downloads in the U.S.  Her current single “Blank Space,” immediately skyrocketed to the top of the Hot 100 and iTunes chart on its debut.

Since the release of his debut album in 1993, he has won three GRAMMYs, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards, 12 Country Music Association Awards, and 10 American Music Awards, while simultaneously maintaining a parallel career as a successful actor in such films as “The Blind Side,” “Country Strong,” and “Friday Night Lights”—as well as hosting Saturday Night Live, a rare honor for a singer in any genre. McGraw has never been afraid of breaking new ground; over the years, he has collaborated with musicians from Nelly to Tony Bennett to Def Leppard and Ne-Yo.

The Academy of Country Music and ‘ZinePak are proud to announce the release of the Official 2013 ACM Awards ‘ZinePak, a limited-edition package spotlighting 2013’s biggest names and brightest new stars.  The collection pairs a 120-page magazine with 35 songs on 2 CDs.  It also includes a ballot with this year’s ACM Awards nominees and an ACM bumper sticker. Leading up to the LIVE broadcast of the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday April 7, 2013 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT  on the CBS Television Network, the ‘ZinePak will be  available at Walmart stores nationwide and Walmart.com. The package sells for $10.

“This year’s ACM ZinePak is just what the fans need to be ready when the ACM Awards air on April 7th,” said Lisa Lee, the Academy’s senior vice president of Creative, PR & Production. “They can learn all about this year’s nominees, plus they can discover some great new artists on the horizon. We’re so thankful to our record label partners for helping us create such a great collection to celebrate the ACM Awards.”

This is the third partnership between the ACM and ‘ZinePak. The previous two compilations (2011 and 2012) both debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Disc One in the collection includes hit songs from all five Entertainer of the Year nominees: Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, and Taylor Swift. It also includes songs from superstars Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and The Band Perry, as well as multiple-ACM Award Nominees Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert, Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer, Kacey Musgraves, Eli Young Band, Florida Georgia Line, Love and Theft, and Thompson Square.

Disc Two includes hits from some of country’s brightest rising stars, including X Factor winner Tate Stevens and The Voice winner Cassadee Pope, along with 16 other artists.

All 35 artists lending songs to the compilation provided exclusive interviews, which can be found in the 120-page magazine accompanying the CDs. The magazine gives fans an inside look at the Academy, including the history behind the organization and the Awards, some of the most decorated artists in its history, and the important social and philanthropic activities happening year-round tied to ACM Lifting Lives.  It also includes interviews with GAC hosts Storme Warren and Suzanne Alexander, both longtime ACM veterans. The package also includes a ballot for fans to choose their picks in each category ahead of the Awards broadcast on April 7, and a collectible bumper sticker.

Production of the collection was overseen by New York-based entertainment company ‘ZinePak. ‘ZinePak co-founder Brittany Hodak said, “We are thrilled to partner with the Academy for the third straight year to create a ‘ZinePak for fans. This year’s package is definitely the best yet, including 35 songs and more than 500 exclusive interview responses from country artists. From what happens when Blake and Luke walk into a bar to the wildest thing they’ve ever seen happen at the award show, country’s superstars held nothing back when they answered the questions for this year’s ‘ZinePak.”

“We are proud to be able to offer this package to fans at the incredible value of $10,” added ‘ZinePak co-founder Kim Kaupe. “We’d like to thank our friends at ConAgra’s Child Hunger Ends Here program; Coors Lite, the official beer of the ACM Awards; and GAC – Great American Country – for their partnership on this project. PERFORMERS

Brad Paisley has won 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year a record-setting five consecutive times, and wins in the Album of the Year, Video of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year categories.  His eighth studio album, Wheelhouse, is scheduled to be released April 9, and the debut single “Southern Comfort Zone” recently became his 21st #1 hit and “Beat This Summer” is his current single.  Paisley’s highly anticipated “Beat This Summer Tour presented by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®” kicks off May 9 in St. Louis, Missouri and will hit more than 29 cities in the United States and Canada during the summer months.

Dierks Bentley is an ACM Award-winning singer/songwriter that has forged his own brand of country music combining classic country songwriting, influences of bluegrass instrumentation and the energy of rock & roll. Bentley’s sixth studio album Home, released in 2012, debuted at #1 and has spawned 3 chart-toppings hits, marking 10 career #1 songs as a singer and songwriter.  He is currently on the “Locked & Reloaded Tour” with longtime friend Miranda Lambert.  On April 6, Bentley will also headline the ACM Party for a Cause Festival, a 2-day outdoor music festival during “The Week Vegas Goes Country®.”

Hunter Hayes has six ACM nominations, including two in the Song of the Year category as the artist and composer, as well as in the Single Record of the Year category as the artist and producer for “Wanted.”  He rounds out his nominations with New Male Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year for “Wanted.”  Hunter’s GRAMMY® nominated self-titled debut album has generated three smash hits, including his current single, “Somebody’s Heartbreak,” which has already entered the Top 5 and is certified Gold, as well as his near Triple Platinum-selling #1 single “Wanted.”  Hunter Hayes is a celebrated musician, songwriter and performer who currently is on the “Blown Away Tour” with Carrie Underwood.

Brantley Gilbert has two Academy of Country Music Award nominations this year – New Artist of the Year and New Male Vocalist of the Year, and his unique sound of Country-Rock-Soul has turned him into one of country’s hottest newcomers.  Gilbert’s sophomore project, the Gold-certified Halfway to Heaven Deluxe debuted at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and produced two Gold #1 singles, “Country Must Be Country Wide” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do.”  As a celebrated songwriter, he has also penned three #1 hits – “My Kinda Party,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” and “Country Must Be Country Wide.”  Gilbert is currently playing to sold-out arenas in the U.K. and North America on his “Hell on Wheels Tour.”

Jana Kramer is the Academy of Country Music Award’s New Female Vocalist of the Year and is also nominated for New Artist of the Year as one of the freshest young voices in country music today.  Kramer, whose self-titled album was named “Best of 2012” by Billboard and iTunes, has impressively sold over a million tracks, including more than 100,000 of the new single “Whiskey” and over a half million of “Why Ya Wanna.”  In addition to her debut album premiering at #5, the success of “Why Ya Wanna” also earned Kramer the title of highest charting debut single from a new female artist since 2006 (previously held by Taylor Swift), as well as making her one of the fastest rising debut artists of 2012.  She will be on the road with Darius Rucker’s “True Believers Tour” in May, and will join the North American “Ten Times Crazier Tour” with Blake Shelton and Easton Corbin on July 19 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Florida Georgia Line has three Academy of Country Music Award nominations this year – New Artist of the Year, New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year and Vocal Duo of the Year.  Since releasing the top-selling, multi-week #1 debut single “Cruise,” which has since hit Double Platinum, this hot country duo has been quickly garnering buzz among fans, media and superstars alike.  Their debut album Here’s to the Good Times earned the highest debut album sales of 2012 for a new country artist, and they’re currently traveling North America with Luke Bryan on his “Dirt Road Diaries Tour.”

LL Cool J is an entertainment icon who has found great success crossing into multiple mediums.  A two-time GRAMMY® Award winner, recording artist, talented actor, author, NAACP Image Award winner, entrepreneur and philanthropist, LL continues to display his wide range of talents with every project.  He currently stars in the CBS hit primetime drama series, “NCIS: LOS ANGELES,” and continuing his musical expedition three decades after he first released music, LL is proudly prepping to release his latest project, Authentic.
