Steve Aoki was spotted with a familiar face Thursday, March 22 before his performance at Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand: his own. The Grammy-nominated international DJ and producer visited his recently unveiled Madame Tussauds wax figure at Level Up before making his way into the club for his headlining show. The figure remained on display throughout the night, allowing fans to take photos as they passed, before returning to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled its new DJ Experience featuring Steve Aoki Tuesday, March 6, when the DJ himself became the first person to cake himself in wax form, before treating fans to a live set to launch the dance-party installation.

 

In true Aoki-style, his figure holds laser cannons that project digital beams around the room and wears customized denim pants from his own Dim Mak collection.

Aoki met with Madame Tussauds artists in May 2017 for a sitting where they took more than 200 hundred measurements and photographs to perfectly match his body, face, skin, hair and teeth. His figure joins Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Will Smith, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and more at the Las Vegas attraction.

On Saturday evening, recording artist Drake stopped by Sugar Factory American Brasserie at Fashion Show in Las Vegas to debut his exclusive Virginia Black Whiskey goblet and specialty cocktail line featuring the Night Owl goblet.
Drake arrived with his entourage around 10:30 p.m. and after touring Sugar Factory, headed up to the Chocolate Lounge to enjoy his goblet and cocktail line. Drake tasted his signature Night Owl goblet topped with candy lollipop owls and multi-colored gummy owls, Sugar Factory’s first Insane Campfire Spiked S’mores Coffee Milkshake, and The Drake Goblet made with peach lemonade and topped with cotton candy and sour peach gummies, all featuring Virginia Black Whiskey.
Sitting with Sugar Factory executives, Drake mentioned that the restaurant would do amazing in Toronto.
Miley Cyrus’ mother Tish and sister Brandi also stopped by and enjoyed pepperoni pizza, a brownie ice cream sundae, the Twinkie Dinkie Insane Milkshake, Rainbow Sliders and a Lollipop Passion Goblet.

Last night, Friday, Sept. 23, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were spotted at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace.

Arriving the famed nightlife destination around midnight, the couple and their friends, who included professional snowboarder Shaun White, were seated in the DJ booth while Justin Mylo was laying down chart-topping hits for the packed crowd.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer looked stunning dressed in black pants and a black leather jacket while Hemsworth looked laid-back and handsome, donning jeans and a tan t-shirt.  

The two were seen enjoying their night out after the “Voice” coach surprised fans with a spontaneous performance with Bill Idol at the iHeart Radio Music Festival earlier in the evening. The stars were seen in high spirits as they mingled with friends and danced at their VIP table before leaving shortly before 1:30 a.m.

Meanwhile, “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner was also spotted enjoying his night inside Heart of OMNIA where DJ Irie was performing for the crowd. Arriving around 1:00 a.m., the “Scream Queens” actor looked handsome and casual dressed in a light blue t-shirt. Around 2:30 a.m., Lautner made his way inside the main club to the balcony where he took in the sounds of OMNIA resident DJ, Martin Garrix. The star was seen in high spirits all night, dancing and sipping on cocktails while mingling with his friends.

The nightclub exploded with energy at the end of Martin Garrix’s set when Bebe Rexha jumped in the DJ booth for a surprise performance of the duo’s hit single “In the Name of Love.” Dressed in a dark green sequined jumpsuit, the blonde bombshell looked absolutely gorgeous as fans danced and sang along with her in an exciting close to the evening.

 International pop superstar Bruno Mars has been immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas to celebrate his 30th birthday. The “Uptown Funk” star will be on display starting this Thursday, Oct. 8 inside the “Music Room,” which is home to fellow music maestros ranging from Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj to Stevie Wonder.

Bruno Mars is an 18-time Grammy Award nominee and multi-Grammy winner. At the top of 2014, Mars made NFL history with the most watched Super Bowl Halftime Show that amassed a record breaking 115.3 million viewers, all while being the youngest artist ever to serve as the sole NFL Super Bowl Halftime headliner. The critically-acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer and musician has sold more than 130 million singles worldwide and was named Billboard’s 2013 “Artist of the Year.” His most recent album, “Unorthodox Jukebox” and his debut album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” have a combined certification total of 94x Platinum worldwide. Looking at home in front of a keyboard, Mars’ figure was created by Madame Tussauds’ studio team taking 20 dedicated artists nearly six months to complete. The figure was first sculpted in clay by hand then covered in a plaster cast. Once the clay was removed from the cast, the wax was poured in and allowed to cool. Nearly six weeks were spent meticulously inserting each hair by hand which is customary for Madame Tussauds’ studio team. Finally, the figure was fitted with acrylic eyes and teeth, while countless layers of tinted paint were applied to build up skin tones – all to achieve the astonishingly lifelike figure styled to pay homage to Mars’ retro showmanship. Mars personally donated the royal blue jacket that his figure wears.

The attraction’s newest figure made its world debut on the Doge’s Palace canal bridge, in front of the hotel property.

Miley Cyrus’ figure was a unique creation for Madame Tussauds’ studio team as this project included not only her figure, but also the wrecking ball itself. Together, the figure and the ball weigh more than 200 pounds. Along with a 30 foot long chain, the top of Miley’s head to the bottom of the wrecking ball will stand at more than 10 feet. The figure and the ball took more than six months to create with a team of 20 dedicated artists. Based on more than 300 precise body measurements, the figure was first sculpted in clay by hand then covered in a plaster cast. Once the clay was removed from the cast, the wax was poured in and allowed to cool. Finally, the figure was fitted with acrylic eyes and teeth; hairs on the head were inserted individually by hand and countless layers of paints and tints were applied to build up skin tones – all to achieve an astonishingly lifelike figure.

Miley’s figure will be permanently installed into the attraction’s Music Room.
